Notes on accommodation
The villa is situated opposite the Tamango Hill Urbanisation. Only 100 meters of good track to the main road of Tamango Hill is enough to give you the feeling of independence. The BBQ beside the pool and a nice porch to spend hours and hours at the sunshine or at the shadow.
Air conditioning is installed in 2 bedrooms to guarantee a good siesta.

Outside
The pool is 6m x 3.5m and private. The terraces are tiled in a rustic style with the feeling of a large patio that leads to the entrance with flowering and aromatic plants.

Coast/Beach
In a range of 10 km east or west you can enjoy the beaches of Nerja and Torrox-Costa. The seaside is 500 meters away from the villa.

Golf
East you can go to Almuñecar or Motril (15-30 minutes drive).
West is Velez-Malaga (Baviera) and Rincon de la Victoria (Añoreta) (20-30 minutes drive).

Skiing
Sierra Nevada is 2 hour drive from Nerja. Ski in the morning and bathe in the sea in the afternoon.

Special interest holidays
Nerja and Torrox-Costa beaches are very close, enjoy different activities like canoeing, scuba, kiteboard, etc There are some routes that combine culture and pleasure. Ruta de la pasa (raisin), del vino (wine), del aceite (oil) del aguacate (advocat), etc where you visit the small white villages and taste their gastronomy (be careful with the wine if you drive).

Malaga airport is 65 km away (highway 50 minutes drive).
There is a private airport in Velez-Malaga (Trapiche).

About the owner
We are a mid age couple native of Nerja. Villa Alabarce is in the "Campo" away from traffic noises and close to Nerja centre. We have the house as a rental income and many times our friends enjoy it. We try to keep it clean and nice as if we were to use it. My husband Rafael works within the area keeping the advocats trees, and I (Loli) work in house maintenance. Our friend Vicente helps us with English and computers.

Year purchased: 1980's

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Rafael´s father bought the plot to cultivate tropical fruits such as advocat, custard apple or mango. A small house was built after, which has been extended to the actual villa with the pool and garden and parking place for more than 5 cars. If you have enough provisions you won´t move much from the villa and enjoy peace and independence. If you like bird watching you will have a good time. The seaside is close, in case you feel to contact the rest of the world. And Nerja or Torrox are at 5 to 10 minutes drive range.

Unique benefits of the property
This area is full of interesting places. Frigiliana , Comares, Competa, etc are beautiful villages that people come from far away to visit. Malaga is just 1 hour drive and Granada 1 hour 15 minutes. While you stay in our villa we´ll try that you enjoy your holidays and solve any problem that (we hope not) may come. A villa in the "campo" with a personal touch that will make you come back.
