Our new, privately owned house in the peaceful village of Los Lobos is situated in the unique and unspoilt Almanzora region of Almeria and makes an ideal base for a wonderful, relaxing holiday at any time of year. The area offers a wide variety of attractions and facilities, including many excellent golf courses (Desert Springs only 10 mins drive), water sports, winter sports near Granada (about 2 hrs drive), plenty of walking locally or further afield! Visits to the water park at Garrucha and Mini Hollywood at Tabernas are among local attractions that will provde entertainment for children and adults alike! The local fiestas at various times of the year are great fun, and there are several markets held locally most days of the week. Our house is very comfortably furnished and equipped as our 'home from home.'

Coast/Beach
The village is situated about 5 kms inland, with a wide variety of beaches nearby, ranging from quiet, sandy coves (about 10 mins drive) to the long beaches of Mojacar (about 20 mintes drive) and San Juan de los Terreros (5 minutes drive). The harbour and port of Aguilas and Garrucha are 15 - 20 minutes drive.
Golf
Numerous 18 hole golf courses, including the renowned Desert Springs (10 mins drive)in the area all within 10 - 20 minutes drive.
Skiing
Ski Resort in Sierra Nevada, near Granada is just two hour's drive away.
Travel
Los Lobos is easily accessibile from Almeria (just under an hour), Alicante and Murcia (just under two hours) airports. Car hire is recommended in order to fully appreciate the area.

Vera and Cuevas Del Almanzora (5 - 10 minutes drive) San Juan de los Terreros (5 minutes drive), Mojacar (20 minutes drive), Garrucha (20 minutes drive), Cabo de Gato National Park (about 45 minutes drive), Granada (about 2 hours drive), Sierra de Espuna National Park (about 1 hours drive), the Alpujarras (about one and a half hours drive).
Further details
There is a supermarket in village where it is possible buy almost anything!! For the larger supermarkets, banks, and a wide variety of shops Vera is about 10 minutes drive and Cuevas del Almanzora about 5 minutes drive. Numerous restaurants within easy driving distance. Two bars in the village.
