Spacious and well equipped with views of Sierra Bernia mountains. In Lliber there are café/bars and shops for essentials including a pharmacy, bakery, butcher, and grocers. Jalon town is a 15 minute level walk from the apartment and offers a larger range of facilities, including several good restaurants, markets and bodegas.

Changeover day
Flexible changeover day. Arrival is normally after 3.00pm and departure is by 10.00am but we will endeavour to be flexible about this.

Notes on accommodation
Sorry, we are unable to accept pets; no smoking inside apartment.
Heaters and fans are available. Smoke alarm fitted.
Outside
Covered tiled patio and garden with stones. Patio table with 4 comfortable chairs. Barbecue. Communal pool is very close by and has a separate shallow area for children, toilets, shower and sun lounging area.
Coast/Beach
The lovely beaches of Javea, Moraira and Calpe are within 20 minutes drive. The characterful fishing port of Denia is also close by. The resort of Benidorm is 35 minutes drive away with the theme park of Terra Mitica and waterparks.
Golf
Several golf courses, including championship courses, within 30 minutes drive.
Travel
Alicante airport is 1 hour’s drive from apartment. Valencia airport is about 1½ hours away. Car hire is essential. We would be happy to advise about car rental in the area
Distances
Lliber village is a few minutes walk from the apartment. The larger town of Jalon is 1km away and is famous for its wine and specialist baked goods. In Jalon there is a village market on Tuesdays and the colourful rastro takes place on Saturdays. Jalon also has a tourist information office. There are several other villages in the Vall del Pop with good restaurants.
Further details
The Jalon Valley has 320 days of sun each year and summer can last well into November! Stretching over a wide area, Jalon is the base for the Wine Co-operative for the region where you can sample and buy local wine. The abundance of vineyards, olive groves and almond trees guarantee some breathtaking countryside. Walking, cycling and horse riding are all popular activities in the area. It is also close to white sandy beaches and stylish resorts for shopping. The apartment is an ideal base for touring the area and house hunting. To secure a reservation, a £100 deposit is required. Balance of rental is payable 6 weeks prior to departure, together with a refundable security deposit of £100. We are able to accept payment by personal cheque or credit card.
