Three beautifully renovated, traditionally-styled 1, 2 and 3 bedroom Casitas, with high wooden ceilings, open-plan living areas, private shaded patios and gardens, offer spacious and comfortable accommodation of a high standard to suit all our guests year-round. A few minutes away are some of the most spectacular beaches on the coast, top class golf courses set in nature reserves and a wide range of activities to suit even the most energetic from horse riding to whale watching. Also within easy reach are many of the historical and cultural gems of Jerez, Seville, Ronda and even Morocco. Or simply laze by the pool, offering idyllic views across the grounds and valley right up to Vejer, often framed by stunning sunsets for which this coast is famous. Changeover day
Properties are available by the week, with a Saturday changeover. 14 day minimum between 4th July - 28th August 2009. Arrival time is between 4pm - 10pm and departure before 10.30am. Short Breaks also available during Low and some Regular Season periods.

Casita Mimosa (2 Bedrooms, Sleeps 4)

Mimosa has 2 double/twin bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and large open-plan living area. The main double bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite shower room specially fitted to accommodate disabled and wheelchairs users, although with its design of sink and wc as well as the large open shower it is suitable for all guests. The twin (easily converted to a superking double) bedroom is next to the family 4-piece bathroom. The spacious living area contains a fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, gas hob and electric oven, dishwasher, microwave, wooden dining table seating four. The sitting room area with French doors leading onto the stone patio has two large sofas, a wood burning stove, WiFi, radio/CD, ipod docking station, UK/European (freeview) satellite TV, DVD and use of our DVD library of 150 films. Outside, there is a private garden and West-facing patio with a shaded pergola with alfresco dining, hammock and BBQ. A utility room with washing machine, drying racks and iron is near. |

Casita Pimienta (3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6)

Pimenta Casita has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a spacious open-plan living area, ideal for families or groups of friends. At one end, the double bedroom has a king bed and an en-suite shower room, while at the other end the 2 twin/double bedrooms share a family bathroom with large bath with shower over, wc, bidet and sink. At the heart of the Casita, there is a large open-plan fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops, gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and wooden farmhouse dining table seating six. The sitting room area has two comfortable sofas and a wood burning stove, as well as WiFi, ipod docking station, radio/CD, UK or European satellite TV (freeview), DVD and use of our DVD library of 150 films. Outside, the private garden wraps around three sides while the West-facing patio offers a shaded pergola with alfresco dining for six, hammock and BBQ. A utility room with washing machine, drying racks and iron is nearby. |

Notes on accommodation
Finca El Sueno is a wonderful place for everyone to relax and enjoy year-round - from families, couples and larger groups who each want their own space. With 1, 2 and 3 bed Casitas and the separate private cortijo, we can offer a range of high standard accommodation in spacious, peaceful grounds to suit everyone - either individually or together.
With their thick stone walls and high wooden ceilings, all properties remains cool in summer and warm in winter so no air conditioning required although fans are provided for every room. WiFi and a choice of international satellite television (English incl BBC freeview, German, Spanish or French) is also connected. No smoking or pets, but guide dogs are always welcome.
Accessibility
The estate is suitable for both disabled and wheelchair users, with small-gravelled pathways and direct parking. The pool has wide shallow Roman steps into 0.8m depth of water. In addition, the two larger Casitas are open-plan on one-level, leading straight out to the stone patios. One Casita also has a specially designed en-suite bathroom with open shower area, and wheelchair-adapted wc and sink. Although this property is slightly raised, it has both a ramp and steps to the front door.
Outside
Finca El Sueño is a private, very peaceful organic estate surrounded by trees and with stunning views across the valley to Vejer. We run our estate on a ecological basis so there is a wonderful array of unusual birds, wildlife and plants all year-round. All our 8 acres of grounds are open to our guests, including swimming pool, ornamental herb gardens and fruit orchards. The pool is spring-fed and non-chlorine (cleaned by a silver and copper ioniser), 5m x 10m in size and 0.8 to 2.4m in depth with wide internal Roman steps for entry. It is surrounded by a security fence covered in climbing plants, long shaded pergola and pool house with changing/bathroom and honesty bar fridge.
Coast/Beach
Some of the best beaches on the Costa de la Luz are just 10 minutes away by car - the long golden beaches of El Pamar & Canos de Meca, and right up to Conil are particularly good for families in the summer and surfers in the winter. Windier Tarifa is less than 30 minutes away for those wishing to try kite-surfing.
Golf
Montenmedio Golf & Country (with the annual Sunshine Horseriding Tour) is less than 500m away and 'the layout of the tees and greens make this course one of the best in Europe both in quality and landscape', according to Spanish professional Severiano Ballesteros. There is an absence of urban development and this, added to the wooded surroundings, make it a natural paradise. Within a short drive away there are also several other excellent courses such as Montecastillo, Benalup, Arcos, Jerez & Sancti Petri - you can play a different course every day of the week and often with good discount rate.
Special interest holidays
Our guests can enjoy a range of activities such as golf, horseriding, 4WD and quad-biking at Montenmedio. There is a wealth of choice for nature lovers too - from whale and dolphin watching to safaris exploring the wonderful National Parks such Donana and Los Alconarles, or simply birdwatching and enjoying the local flora and fauna walks. Your days can be as active or as laid-back as you wish and you also do not have to arrange everything in advance, rather just take it day by day. Sherry-tasting, a day-trip to Seville, Cadiz or even Morocco are firm favourites for those preferring the intellectual rather than the physical approach!
Travel
There are several airports that are all within driving distances offering a wide choice of airports and airlines for our guests. Jerez (45 mins), Gibraltar(1 hr), Seville (2 hours) and Malaga (2.5hrs) - all offering several airline carriers from many airports national and international. Car hire is essential due to our semi-rural location, and we are pleased to recommend a local company. Public transport and taxis are also available - although on a more limited basis than urbanised areas.
Distances
The beautiful 'white village' of Vejer de la Frontera is just 5 minutes by car, with the seaside villages and towns of El Palmar, Canos de Meca and Conil just 10-20 minutes away. The historic & cultural towns of Jerez, Seville, Ronda & Cadiz (to name just a few!) are also within 45 mins to a day trip distance. Morocco is also just an hour or so away, door-to-door!

There is a choice of excellent local restaurants and tapas bars, shops and local markets all within easy reach. Banks, internet cafes, doctors and pharmacies can be found in all local towns, including Vejer just 5 minutes away. For any particular requests or requirements, please just ask! Each Casita comes with its own booklet containing essential and local information as well as suggestions for places to eat, visit and enjoy.
