At Villa Miramar we have sought to combine luxury with a high degree of comfort. Designed and furnished to the highest standard the villa offers a well equipped fitted kitchen with breakfast bar, living/dining room with satellite TV/DVD/video and sound system and wireless Broadband, ocean views from all bedrooms and living rooms, and air-conditioning and underfloor heating throughout. Surrounding the villa there is a spacious terrace with 180 degree unrestricted views of the ocean, where sightings of dolphins and whales are possible, and where, at the end of the day over drinks or dinner, you can enjoy the spectacular sunsets which frequently grace the bay. Within the secluded, well maintained garden, there is an infinity swimming pool with separate jacuzzi from which the beach – a 5 minute walk away – can be enjoyed, as well as a barbeque and swing. A sauna, bicycles, kayaks and tennis racquets are also available on request.

Notes on prices
Prices for the property per week and payable in Euros.
A supplement of Euros 180 per week applies for the use of the jacuzzi and Euros 60 for the sauna. Bike or kayak rental is Euros 60 each per week. A deposit of 30% is required to secure the booking; 8 weeks prior to arrival an additional 50% is due with the balance being payable in Euros on arrival.
Changeover day
Saturday-Saturday during the peak months of June – September and over Easter/Christmas and school half terms. Flexible at other times.

| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels, linen and beach towels are included and are changed weekly. Cleaning of the villa at the end of the rental is included, as well as a weekly clean for rentals longer than one week. Extra cleaning can be arranged as an optional extra. |

Accessibility
On the ground floor there is a bedroom with en-suite bathroom (shower) as well as the sixth bedroom/study with a separate lavatory to service the ground floor.
Outside
A large, circular terrace overlooking the beach and with views over the Straits to Africa surrounds the villa. On this terrace there is a comfy sofa, chairs and coffee table for relaxation away from the sun, as well as two dining tables accommodating up to 16 people. On the lawn by the swimming pool there are 10 sunlounge chair for sun-lovers. The top floor bedrooms share another terrace with views also over the ocean. A small table and 4 chairs allows guests to enjoy early morning coffee in privacy. The garden at the back of the villa has a BBQ with its own lighting, a swing and a vegetable garden for guests' use.
Coast/Beach
The Cabo de Gracia beach (otherwise known as as the Playa de los Allemanes)and the Cabo de Plata, on which the villa is located, are both within a 5 minute walk from Villa Miramar. The Zahara de los Atunes beach is within a 12 minute walk.
Golf
There are several good golf courses within easy reach which can be used all year round given the excellent weather conditions that exist in the area. Within 20 kilometres from the villa, you will find the Montenmedio course which ranks among the best in Europe, while at a distance of 40 km you will find the Benalup Golf Course (18 holes), the Sancti Petri (36 holes) and the San Andres Golf Course (9 holes).
Travel
Miramar is 1 1/4 hours from Jerez and Gibraltar airports and 2 hours from Malaga and Seville airports by car. A car is essential.
Distances
Within easy reach of the villa are Tarifa (30 mins) -the wind capital of Europe with its magnificent kitesurfers and the launch pad to Africa and to the Straits to see the dolphins and whales, Cadiz (75 mins) - with its unique location surrounded by ocean and its splendid cathedral, Seville (120 mins) - arguably one of the most beautiful of European cities, Jerez (90 mins) with its Andalucian horses and sherry Bodegas and the beautiful, white Moorish village of Vejer is just 20 minutes away.
Further details
A local daily market, small supermarkets and some great restaurants are within 5 minutes drive of the villa. For more extensive shopping/dining Barbate and Vejer are only 15/20 minutes away. For those of a sporty disposition there is excellent windsurfing at Tarifa - the windsurf capital of Europe, kiting, scuba diving, swimming, horseback riding with tennis and golf additonally nearby; for those seeking cultural activities Cadiz, Seville, Jerez are all within a couple of hours from the villa, whereas for those seeking to explore the natural environment, the area benefits from great biological diversity with many nature reserves, as well as the annual bird migration to Africa.
Booking notes
A deposit of 30% is required to secure the booking. 8 weeks prior to arrival an additional 50% is payable. The balance (to include any extras incl. bank charges, where applicable) is payable in Euros to our agent on collection of the keys on the day of arrival when a security deposit of Euros 400 will be required. All amounts are non refundable except the security deposit which is repayable fully less any damages incurred.
