|
Elegant village house restored with exceptional attention to detail and situated on the edge of one of the prettiest villages in the Lecrin Valley. The valley is on the boundary of the Sierra Nevada National Park and is unusually lush and covered in orange, lemon and olive groves. Outside the front door, runs the GR7 trans-European footpath and there are many gentle walks in all directions and for the more ambitious, walks into the sierra are 10 minutes drive away. Both Granada with the stunning Alhambra palace and numerous squares and fountains and the beaches of the Costa Tropical can be reached in half an hour. The ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada and the high mountains of the Alpujarra are also less than an hour away.

We just got back from a lovely stay in Restabal and I just wanted to thank you – your house was lovely, unusual, beautiful, and very cleverly and thoughtfully restored. We loved the roof terrace. We had a great time and were impressed with the tapas in bar jovi. We might be back!

We stayed at your house ...and had a wonderful time. The house is gorgeous and well equipped and in a really good location, we explored a lot of the local area. I think our favourite part were your neighbours who we made laugh with our rusty Spanish and were friendly and helpful.

Just a quick note to say thanks for letting is stay in your fantastic place in Restabal. The house and location were ideal and we had an awesome week spending time in Granada, the Alpujarras, on the coast, horseriding, and strolling around Lecrin Valley (including picking oranges from Mick's cortijo and not to mention a few nights with Jose and family at Bar Jovi!)Richard and Ayshea
