The apartment overlooks the large swimming pool, paddling pool and beautifully maintained landscaped gardens and has stunning views. Sun-loungers are provided - remember to bring your beach towels.
Coast/Beach
Marbella, Puerto Banus and San Pedro de Alcantara have excellent safe beaches are all within a 10-minutes drive and most offer water sport facilities.
Golf
The La Quinta Golf and Country Club provides 27-holes made up of 3-interconnecting courses. There is also a well-established and recognised Golf Academy and Shop. The Clubhouse has an excellent restaurant, bar and terrace with superb views to the Mediterranean sea.
Skiing
Weekend skiing is available at Sierra Nevada ski resort, 2-hours drive away.
Special interest holidays
As well as the golf, sophisticated shopping and nightlife at the millionaires' yacht marina in Puerto Banus, the area features superb beaches. Historic Marbella with its wonderful shops, plazas and restaurants. Andalucia is well known for its heritage and scenery. Benahavis, Mijas and Ronda are less than one-hour away; Seville, Gibraltar and the Moorish cities of Granada and Cordoba are day-trips.
Travel
Malaga International Airport is 40-minutes by car on the new motorway and the nearest exit is less than 5-minutes from La Quinta. Car hire is recommended.
Distances
Marbella, Puerto Banus and San Pedro de Alcantara are 10-mins drive. Places of interest include Benahavis (15-mins); Mijas (20-mins); Ronda (45-mins); Gibraltar (45-mins); Granada with the Alhambra palace (90-mins); Seville (2 hours); the White Villages Tour (a day-trip).
