Our beautiful cortijo has been tastefully restored into luxury accommodation and offers a wonderful poolside apartment with fantastic facilities including a heated pool, jacuzzi and a large games area set in amazing grounds. You will find our beds so comfortable with mattress toppers for luxury, Egyptian cotton bedlinen and even christy dressing gowns to lounge in after a soak in the hot tub with a chilled glass of wine. With views to die for looking out of your windows everyday our property and area is something really hard to beat! Only 10 minutes from main Andalucian motorway you can access all of the wonderful cities at ease and visit Granada, Cordoba, Seville and Malaga and then come home on the evening to peace and tranquility. There are many white washed villages to visit close by and enjoy the Real Spain and eat tapas and relax into the Spanish way of life.We pride ourselves on our standard of service we offer. Changeover day
Flexible. We do ask for departures to have vacated the room by 10.00am unless we have no one arriving that day then we can be flexible.
Accommodation
| Bedrooms: | The bedroom can be double or twin depending on your preference and is dressed with the top quality bed linen. Also supplied are Christy dressing gowns for your home comforts. There is a double sofabed in the lounge area, leather and top quality. |
| Bathrooms: | The bathroom has a power shower and the best Egyptian cotton towels are supplied for you with lovely large bath sheets. There is also a bidet, toilet and sink. A hairdryer is supplied which is great to save on your packing! |
| Kitchen: | The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need and there is also access to a washing machine in another outdoor kitchen. Next to your apartment is a fantastic BBQ underneath the grapevine to have al fresco evenings watching the sun go down. |
| Utility Room: | There is an outside utility/kitchen to use that also has an oven, more pots and pans if you need them and a washing machine. We also have an iron, ironing board and a clothes airer. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge area has a top quality leather sofa bed and English TV and DVD. The apartment is furnished to a high standard and we have a range of books and DVDs on site for you to borrow at your leisure. |
| Other: | You have a wonderful patio area furnished with quality garden furniture overlooking the heated pool area. This has a shady area too so can get the best of both worlds and is situated next to the large BBQ for you to use anytime you want. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All towels and linen are included in your price and are the best quality. You do need to bring your own beach towels. Welcome pack is supplied on arrival and if you require any shopping I am happy to fetch it for you so its in your apartment on arrival. |
Notes on accommodation
There are children facilities on the complex. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
This beautiful cortijo can be rented out as a whole as it does open up to a large villa. This is a perfect retreat for a holiday any time of the year due to having a heated pool. During the cooler months you can still have beautiful sunshine and be able to use the swimming pool which is a unique feature to our property.

Accessibility
A bedroom ensuite is available with full disabled facilities sleeping two people. There is also full wheelchair access to the room and around the terraces and by the pool area.
The bathroom is large and has a big open shower that has a free standing chair to be used and also around the bathroom are special rails for security.
Outside
There is a beautiful pool area with a 8m by 4 m pool and many sunloungers and cushions supplied. To give you shade there is a large pergola that is perfect to get away from the heat if you want to. We also have a 6 seater jacuzzi and a large games area with a English pool table, table tennis and darts. There are an abundance of areas to relax and for groups who have the whole villa there is a waterproof pergola and even a plunge pool for the kids. There is also a seated area with scatter cushions that has a TV so you can relax outside and watch Sky TV. Near the pool area is a beautiful grape vine and a full barbecue area that is perfect for your relaxing nights in al fresco dining. We supply pool inflatables and also there are mountain bikes if you feel a bit energetic.
We have kayaks that can be taken to the lake beach for the day for something a little different, and if you want anything special organising, nothing is too much trouble here just ask.
Coast/Beach
Casa Pino Solo is only 5 mins drive from Iznajar lake and its sandy beach area. Swim in the fresh water lake and have a drink and a meal at the restaurant on the beach. During the summer there are non motorised water sports available on the lake. We are only 1 hour from the beaches of the Costa del Sol so you have the best of both worlds.
Golf
There is a New golf course at Antequera which is less than 30 minutes away. This is a fantastic course and people travel from Marbella and the coast to use it due to its quality.
Another 3 proposed courses being built nearby in the future.
Skiing
Sierra Nevadas are about 90 minutes away with the famous Sol y Nieve resort, 'the highest ski resort in Europe' and all facilities available. During December to March the skiing is fantastic and there is a company in our village who will do an organised for you included some training, lift passes and clothing etc. Alternatively you can drive yourself for a great day out.
Special interest holidays
We offer full beauty treatments that you can pre book and have on the complex at any time. Salsa classes for beginners offered also.
When booking the whole villa we can organise gala buffets and special party nights for any occasion and paela can be delivered to the door for 8 people or more.
Kayaks are here for enthusiasts to take to the lake beach.
Anyone interested in Pilates can now get either one to one sessions at the villa or small groups can also be booked. For the ladies who enjoy a bit of clothes shopping a clothes party can also be arranged for something a little different.
Travel
Málaga airport is 50 minutes away, Granada, which Ryan Air have just started flying to, is about 40 minutes away. Car hire is recommended to get out and tour all of the Andalucian cities and our roads are well known as the best in Europe.

By car, 2km to the village of Fuente del Conde, 5km from Iznájar, 101km from Córdoba and the old quarter, mosque etc. 88km from Granada and the Alhambra, the Generalife gdns, old quarter etc. 106km from Málaga and the cathedral, Alcazaba and castle. 211km from Sevilla, 122km from Sierra Nevadas, 59km from Antequera, 12km from Rute and 33km from Lucena.

Horse riding just outside Iznajar and at Salinas and Villa Nueva del Trabuco. Information available in the apartments.
Scuba diving trips can be organised and also bird watching and hiking tours. Fishing trips also organised. Restaurants: Bar Verde, ask for William - Tel 628 822 997, situated in Plaza la Venta Iznajar Village. Small Bistro in Iznajar village offering wide selection of breakfast, lunches and dinners. English spoken.
Meson el Charcon - Tel 957 53 47 74, specializing in pork dishes, take away paellas, menu in English. Address: Head towards Rute from Iznajar, opposite the turn off to the village of La Celada, on the left is El Charcon, next door is a place that looks like a castle.
Bar Manolo, menu in English and some English spoken. Address: Go into the village of Salinas, you will see Bar Mejias directly in front of you, turn left and Bar Manolo is the last bar on the right.
El Estacion, menu in English and some English spoken.
Address: As for Bar Manolo but instead of turning left at Bar Mejias go straight across and turn right at the end. The restaurant is in part of the old railway station and you may see a train go past whilst dining outside in the covered terrace area!
Beach Bar, unfortunately only open in the summer season this bar is situated right at the back of the beach by the lake.

Myself Lisa and my husband Nigel have been running Casa Pino Solo now for 4 years after making the move to Spain. Previous to this move I spent 14 years managing restaurants after training to be a chef and then moving directions into the management side of things.We both dreamt of our move for a long time and wanted to own a property where we could provide holidays for people and use my skills of hospitality and knowledge to ensure everyone had a great stay. Once we found our property the rest all fitted in to place and now 4 years down the line we have a wonderful villa where everyone has a fantastic holiday. Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
After searching all of the South of Spain on the coast and inland for around 8 years we eventually found our perfect location, Iznajar. We chose to buy here due its fantastic location and proximity to all the wonderful cities of Andalucia. Our luxury property is only 10 minutes from the main motorway of Andalucia that gives you easy access to tour Granada, Malaga, Seville, Cordoba, Ronda, Priego De Cordoba plus many more places including white washed villages that are wonderful, the real Spain!
You can enjoy our wonderful views and quiet location and then get to all the hussle and bussle really easily. Everyone who stays at Casa Pino Solo loves the area and coming back from a day touring to relax in the jacuzzi with a nice glass of wine and eating outdoors alfresco style!
