Situated at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, La Gallega enjoys an elevated position on the wooded slopes of Cabaynes. La Gallega is a comfortable villa which has recently been renovated to a high standard. There is a modern, fitted kitchen which is well equipped. The open plan living room has a fireplace and patio doors which lead to the private, south facing gardens and terraced areas. A particular feature of the villa is the master bedroom which has its own balcony with spectacular views. The villa is a 3 minute drive from the small medieval town of Calonge, where restaurants and shops can be found. The villa is 6km from the seaside resort of St. Antoni de Calonge which has a beautiful, family friendly beach with a long promenade and a multitude of restaurants and tapas bars. If more private beaches are your style then the rugged coastline north of Palamos has much to offer. Immediately inland from the villa is the beautiful natural park of Les Gavarres with many cross country trails.

Outside
The villa stands in a plot of about 1000m2. The garden is peaceful, private and benefits from mature planting - palms, olive and orange trees, for example. The private pool (9m by 4m) is surrounded by terracing and sun loungers are provided. The villa faces southward and so the pool is in the sun throughout the day. There is also a large sun umbrella and numerous shaded areas in the garden offering sun protection. For added convenience there is an outside WC and shower.
There is an outside, summer dining terrace immediately adjoining the living area and adjacent to the kitchen. In this area there is a large patio table and seating for 8. An electrically operated awning provides shade to this area if required.
In addition there is a purpose built barbecue area in the garden with stone table and chairs.
There is a spacious garage area with ample room for car parking.

Coast/Beach
The sandy beaches of Sant Antoni de Calonge can be reached in 5 minutes by car. The beach is safe for children and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes along the promenade.
The lively fishing port of Palamos (10km) has a range of different fish restaurants and bars. The fish market is held on the quayside every afternoon.
The rocky headlands and pretty bays of Begur and Llafranc can be reached in about 20 minutes.
