Casa Rosa is set in the Jalon Valley. With a slighly elevated position giving wonderful views of both valley and mountains, within 5mins walk of the village of Alcalali and with The largest pool available at this type of villa. The villa is beautifully furnished and well appointed, with both air-conditioning, independently controlled for each room, and for winter stays there is full central heating. All living accommodation and pool are on one floor level, access to the villa by three small steps from the driveway. At Casa Rosa we aim to provide you with all the comforts and conveniences of home together with the freedom and ease of a Spanish Villa holiday. Attention has been paid to the smallest detail including an extensive library of videos, DVD's and CD's for your use as well as a hairdryer to each bedroom. Our English speaking managers are available at all times to answer any questions you may have and so ensure you have a wonderful holiday.

Changeover day
Bookings are Saturday - Saturday unless by special arrangement, however we will make every effort to meet your requirments.
Arrival after 3pm, Departure is by 10.30am - are preferable times but flexibility will be shown wherever possible.

For Winter stays duvets are provided.

Kitchen: Electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and dishwasher. Very well equipped with crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
Living Rooms: Living flame gas fire, TV, video and DVD, CD music centre. Extensive library of CDs, DVDs and VCRs. French windows leading to dining terrace where there is a dining suite taking full advantage of the spectacular views.
Other: Dining suite to both covered terrace and barbecue area.
Master bedroom with walk-in wardrobe, twin rooms with ample built-in wardrobes. All bedrooms equipped with hairdryers.

linen/maid service:
All bedding, towels and tea towels are included and changed weekly. Pool (but not beach) towels are included.
Appropriate warmer bedding, including duvets, are provided for holidays through the chillier months.

There are two sun terraces plus covered terrace, swimming pool for sole use of clients with spectacular valley views. Built in barbecue with separate dining suite. Good supply of garden chairs and sun-loungers.

Coast/Beach
Good beaches at Denia, Javea, Moraira and Calpe as well as the many coves to be found along the coast road, all within an easy 25 min drive.

Golf
La Sella - 18 hole, 72 Par Golf course designed in conjunction with Jose Maria Olazabal, 15 mins away. Other golf courses within reasonable distance, information can be provided on request.

Special interest holidays
Horse riding, tennis, 25m swimming pool within 15mins. Terra Mitica theme park, safari park, aquapark, watersports and miles of beaches within easy drive distance. Good walking and cycling.

Travel
Car hire is essential as the villa is 1hr from both Valencia and Alicante Airports.
Details of competitive car hire can be provided as can advise on low-cost airlines sevicing the two Spanish airports.
Detailed route directions from the airport of your choice to the villa will be provided.

Distances
Local shops, restaurants and bars are a 5mins walk away in Alcalali. Jalon is 3km away with a further selection os shops, restaurants and bars, and nearby Benissa has several large supermarkets. A wide variety of attractions within 30mins drive.
Banks with ATMs are to be found in both Alcalali and Jalon.

Further details
The Jalon Valley is a gastronomique delight with many restaurants giving first class food at excellent prices.

There are colourful markets throughout the area offering a wide range of goods with leather goods being a particularly good buy.

The villa has a comprehensive Client Information Folder giving information on operation of villa equipment, restaurants, bars, attractions and fiestas.

Booking notes
Bookings are secured with a 20% deposit.
Reservations by telephone will be held for 7 days until payment of the deposit, confirmation will then be forwarded to the client. Balance due 6 weeks prior to departure.
We are able to accept payment by credit card via Paypal.

About the owner
My name is Lyn James. Originally I came from Lancashire but spent many years living Yorkshire. For the 10 years prior to my moving, with my husband Rob, to Spain, I worked as a District Nurse in both West Yorkshire and later in Staffordshire. We moved to Alcalali in May 2003 and love all aspects of our life in Spain.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Prior to buying Casa Rosa we researched all areas of Spain. Our first visit to the Jalon Valley took our breath away, the beauty of the valley itself, the four small villages, the almond, olive, orange and lemon groves and of course the lovely local people. Over time our appreciation for the location we had chosen only grew. Year round wonderful climate, an abudance of excellent places to eat out to suite every pocket and occasion. The changes to the valley which come with the seasons, February and March turn the valley into a carpet of pink and white almond blossom, spring turns the valley deep green as the vines grow, wonderful summer sun and the rich russet of autumn. Finally the joy of sitting out on the Naya on Christmas Day enjoying the mild temperatures and pleasant sunshine
