Sol y Mar house is privately owned and located on the prestigious Marina del Sol Resort close to 'El Faro' lighthouse, near Fuengirola, on the shores of the clear blue Mediterranean. Just 20 minutes by car from Malaga Airport, the Resort enjoys on of the best positions on the Costa del Sol. The beautiful gardens flourish in an area which has probably the finest climate in Europe with an average 320 days sunshine a year. There are sandy beaches a short walk away and a large swimming pool just outside the back door of the property. The many facilities include restaurants, bars, shop, bakery, supermarket, horse riding, all on-site. There is a regular bus service and Taxi Rank. There is also a small "land train" which can be used.

Fully equipped and attractively furnished, the house is arranged on 2 levels and is light and airy with marble floors throughout. All bedrooms have ceiling fans and sun shutters. The accommodation and resort makes it very suitable for family holidays.

Outside
Private patio to the front with off road parking. Private patio to the rear with patio furniture, Gas BBQ etc., access to the communual gardens. There is a large shared pool with sun loungers etc. to the rear of the house. Guests have access to several other swimming pools at the Resort.
Coast/Beach
A short walk to sandy beaches (about 5-10 minutes). Little train goes there in about 5 minutes for people with disabilities.
Golf
El Chaparrel is 1 km, La Cala course 2-3 kms, Mijas Golf is 5km. Alhaurin Golf and Lauro Golf are about 20km.
Many other courses really close.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada - 2 1/2 hours.
Travel
Malaga Airport 20km. Car is not essential.
Nearest Ferry Port is Santander which is approximately 1000 kms.
Distances
Fuengirola 2km. La Cala 3km. Gibraltar, Ronda, Malaga City all easy day trips.
Further details
Supermarket on site together with restaurants and ATM machine. Internet access on site. Myramar large shopping mall and supermarket close by and other large supermarkets on outskirts of Fuengirola.
