Our villa is situated on a small complex in a quiet residential area and enjoys lovely views of open countryside. It is approximately 40 mins drive from Alicante Airport and 20 mins from Murcia Airport. The villa is just a few yards from the attractive pool with separate small shallow baby/toddler pool to one end. Local amenities all within 10 mins walk include supermarket, banks, shops, restaurants and bars. The famous Playa Flamenca Saturday street market is just 5 mins walk and within 5 mins drive are three excellent unspoilt blue cross sandy coves. The traditional Spanish town of Torrevieja with its spectacular church and square, daily indoor, weekly outdoor and nightly street market is approx 5 kms drive. The harbours, bars and restaurants line the wide, flat promenade which stretches 2/3 kms where you will join local Spanish residents for an evening stroll.

Notes on accommodation
Air-conditioning is installed in the lounge/dining/kitchen area and the main bedroom. In addition large ceiling fans are fitted in every room. Hairdryer, ample mirrors and hangers are provided. No smoking in the villa please, ashtrays are provided outside for your use. Hire of baby equipment and bikes can be arranged and delivered. Sorry no pets.

Accessibility
Our villa is in an area which is flat and accessible for wheelchair users. Garden and patio at ground level and access into the villa is good. The ground floor with all living areas and a twin bedroom are easily accessible but a wheelchair could not be wheeled into the shower room. For clarification please contact the owners.
Outside
From the villa you step onto a furnished front patio. This leads to a very private garden with a table and seating for 6 (or more) beneath an attractive wooden pergola covered by climbing plants for very welcome shade. An additional small table with 4 chairs in the sun is provided together with a BBQ. Trees, trellis covered with bourganvillea and shrubs provide a tranquil, private and pleasant environment in which to relax. Sunbeds are provided. The main bedroom balcony is equipped with a table and chairs for those sun downers. A large sunny roof solarium has sunbeds, a shower, table and chairs with views of open countryside to the mountains. The attractive communal swimming pool with its small shallow baby pool to one end is just a few paces away.
Coast/Beach
We enjoy over 320 days of sunshine each year which together with two large salt lakes contributes to our reputation as one of the healthiest places in the world to live as stated by the World Health Organisation. In addition to our 3 local sandy coves a 10 min drive takes you to La Zenia beach where you will find banana boats, jet bikes and para-sailing. Life guards on duty during high season. Within 25 mins drive is the Mar Menor, a unique shallow inland sea particularly safe for children.
Golf
There are three excellent golf courses within 10/20 mins drive.

Travel
The villa has easy access to/from both the N332 (a major road) and the A7 motorway which you will reach from our villa in 10 mins. Car hire is recommended, however airport collection and return can be arranged for an additional fee.
Distances
Santa Pola is about 45 mins drive where boat trips run to the Marine Reserve at Tabarca Island. Benidorm is just over an hour's drive with its many tourist attractions including the Terra Mitica Theme Park, the Mundomar Marine & Exotic Animal Park, Aqualandia Water Park & the Benidorm Palace with its spectacular dinner and show evenings. In the mountains behind Benidorm is Guadalest, a very pretty village with wonderful views and a turquoise reservoir - well worth a trip.
Further details
Within approximately 1 - 1.5 hour's drive will be found the following excursions:- The elegant provincial capital of Alicante with its modern harbour development of sophisticated restaurants and bars built around a marina. From its historic castle, museum and art gallery to the famous El Cortes Ingles departmental store there is something for everyone. Murcia will provide more shopping options and pleasant squares for al fresco dining to rest the footsore and weary. Elche which is famous for its palm tree park (and shoe industry - excellent bargains to be had!). Up into the mountains the Fortuna health spa can provide another dimension. An information folder in our villa will provide details of all these and more.
Booking notes
£50 deposit (non-refundable) required at time of booking. The balance is due 8 weeks prior to departure. A key/breakage deposit of £100 is payable with the balance and refunded on return of the villa keys and confirmation that no damage was incurred or extra cleaning necessary. A cheque will be forwarded to you at your home address in the UK.
