La Esperanza is a stylishly converted olive mill in the beautiful village of Gaucin. The house is situated in a very quiet street with no through traffic but within minutes of the centre of the village with its many restaurants, bars and shops. The house has two terraces with incredible views south to the Mediterranean, the Rock of Gibraltar and North Africa and also the picturesque roof tops and castle of the village. Central to the house is the courtyard, which has a recently built pool 4.5m x 3m and a large area for sunbathing and dining. La Esperanza is extremely comfortable and spacious and suitable for all seasons as it has both air conditioning, essential in the summer, and central heating, plus a cosy log fire for chilly autumn and winter weather.

We regret that due to the layout of this old house that has lots of stone steps as it is built on a hillside, very young children and the elderly and infirm are not recommended.
From 5 July - 27 September there are no reductions.

Balcony, barbecue, garden and terrace. The secluded courtyard and garden features the original mill stone and is perfect for lunching and dining. The upper two terraces affords views across the village to the medieval castle and is ideal for sunbathing, lunch, and that pre-dinner cocktail. There is a 4m x 2.5m plunge pool with jet stream for swimming.

This lovely family house is tastefully decorated using a mix of contemporary furnishings and rustic touches to create a relaxed, airy feel throughout. There are 2 bedrooms in the main house whilst off the courtyard are a private 1st floor guest suite and another separate, self contained apartment – ideal for teenagers or grandparents. The property is well equipped and all bedrooms have air-conditioning and draped mosquito nets. Due to the many steps, it is not recommended for the elderly/infirm, and children under 5.
