This 3 bedroom house is air-conditioned and has ceiling fans fitted to all 3 bedrooms. Furnished to a high standard throughout makes it ideal, for family holidays. It has attractive private gardens to the front, side and rear of the property. The frontal aspect of the house includes a shaded front porch with patio table and chairs provided. The rear of the property has a barbeque area with patio table and chairs and also 4 sunbeds. The community gardens have a large swimming pool and children’s pool. The house is situated on Spain's Costa Blanca about 30 minutes drive south of Alicante. The area is renowned for its fabulous beaches and year round sunshine. Cuidad Quesada is a wonderful place for a relaxing holiday. It is also an ideal base to explore the many attractions in the area, including water parks, horse riding, a mini golf course and 12 superb golf courses all within easy travelling distance. The nearest beaches are La Mata and Guardamar which are 10 minutes by car.

We work under a flexible booking schedule for your convenience as long as it does not clash with other bookings. Arrivals no earlier than 4.00pm and departure by 10.00am.

Linen and towels (excluding beach/pool towels) are included. Towels and linen changed once per week. Cleaning is provided prior and after each let.

Accessibility
Although there are a couple of steps to negotiate from the front garden to the front door area, there is a downstairs bedroom and separate shower/toilet on the ground floor level (wheelchair users however would not be able to manouvre a wheelchair into toilet/shower areas).

Outside
The property includes gardens to the front, side and rear of property which are nicely planted with both lemon and orange trees and flower borders. It has a barbeque, patio tables and chairs, parasols and four sun loungers. There are lockable gates at both front and rear of the property in order for children to play safely within the properties garden.

Coast/Beach
The Costa Blanca area around Torrevieja and Guardamar has some of the best beaches in Europe. It has 7 EU Blue Flag beaches. These vary from the very active beaches with a full range of water sports, activities and services, to secluded rocky and sandy coves. The fine golden sandy beaches of Guardamar and La Mata and Torrevieja is just a 10 minute drive.

Golf
The local golf course in Quesada, 'La Marquesa' is a 5 minute drive. Numerous other golf courses within a 10-20 minute drive, include La Finca, Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas to name but a few. La Manga Golf Club is about an hours drive South. Quesada Town also has a mini golf range facility.

Travel
Alicante or Murcia airports are both within 30/40 minutes drive to the house. The drive is straight forward and detailed directions will be provided. Car hire is not essential but is recommended.

Quesada town is approximately 15 minutes walk.
Rojales town is approximately 5 minutes drive.
Torrevieja town is approximately 15 minutes drive
Guardamar town is approximately 10/15 minutes drive.
The water park in Quesada is approximately 5/10 minute drive away.

Further details
General Information: Quesada is approached from Alicante airport via the Mediterranean Highway (A7) and (N-340), or via the (N-332) which takes in towns and villages lying along the coast. Sheltered by the crevillente mountain range, the region boasts a unique moderate climate, averaging temperatures between 12-19 C winter and 24-38 C in summer.
Along the coastal road North of Guardamar lies the fishing port and marina of Santa Pola, with boat excursions to the island of Taberca with its underwater nature reserve. Larger towns such a Elche, and the cities of Alicante or Murcia are within easy reach for shopping or exploring. There are numerous fiestas throughout the year. (Information folder in property) and daily street markets located around the area. The old Spanish town of Guardamar is 10 minutes drive and has excellent sporting facilities for windsurfing, sailing, water-skiing, scuba diving and jet-skiing etc at the Marina's nautical club. There is an outstanding sports complex for tennis, basketball, football etc and an Olympic swimming pool. Guardamar boasts 11 kms of dunes and sandy beaches and the enormous 'Queen Sofia' Park to enjoy a quiet stroll through it's botanical gardens.
There are plenty of bars and restaurants to suit all tastes, but it still retains a typical Spanish air and is a very popular holiday resort for Spaniards also.
The bustling town of Torrevieja is about 10-15 minutes drive and also has stretches of golden sandy beaches, esplanade, large marina and numerous international restaurants and bars. For the young at heart there are clubs, music bars and foam parties for the nightlife. As well as being a fishing port, Torrevieja is reknowned for the La Mata mud baths, pink flamingos and other species of wildlife.
There is now two new supermarkets Lidl & Consum within 5 minutes walk from the house and also a new children's play-park with swings, slides etc near to the new stores.
