Isla Canela tourist resort approximately 3km. 7km of sandy beaches at the mouth of the river estuary. Water sports at the local marinas and on the beach where there are also a selection of restaurants overlooking the water.

Golf and beach resort approximately 3km. Links course, buggies for hire, tennis and swimming pool. Golf also at Castro Marim Mountain Top Course approximately 10km. Fantastic views and club house access.
Travel
Following completion of the motorway between Faro and Seville in December 2002, Ayamonte is even more accessible than ever and is approximately 50 km from Faro Airport (45 minutes drive) and 150 km from Seville (approximately 1½ hours drive). Local ferry across the river to Portugal from the town quay a few minutes away.
Distances
The many and varied towns and villages in the Huelva area including Villablanca and Punto Umbria are within a half hour drive.
Further details
Easy level walk to the varied tapas bars and restaurants in the town just a few minutes away as is the local fish market fresh daily, together with supermarkets and the high street banks.
