The Villa

Brand new air conditioned three bedroom villa with private pool decorated and furnished to a very high standard. Situated in the lovely village of Frigiliana where you will find many nice restaurants, shops and bars. It is also only a 5 minute drive to Nerja town and the coast and 45 minutes drive from Malaga airport. It has two twin bedrooms and one large double bedroom - all air conditioned and with ceiling fans. There are two full bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and washing machine. Lounge /diner with sat TV, open fireplace, two settees and table and chairs for six. Patio doors lead to another terrace with table and chairs and wonderful south facing views to sea and mountains. There are several other terraces and swimming pool with good views. Patio table and chairs are also situated around the pool aswell as 6 sunbeds

Coast/Beach
10 mins drive to beach at Nerja. The village of Frigiliana, and particularly the historic part is a village of unparalleled beauty. The architecture recalls the pure Moorish style while respecting changes through the centuries. Thankfully, the people who live here enjoy showing their love for the town by their actions. They can be seen constantly white-washing their houses and cleaning their corners of the cobblestone streets and passageways, keeping them spotless.

Distances
Walking distance to Frigiliana village. In the spring, the courtyards and patios and terraces are overflowing with flowers, which turn a stroll through town into a sweet-smelling dream. Everything they have done has earned the town well-deserved awards and honors making Frigiliana the most honored town in Axarquia. The first time you visit you will be overwhelmed and surprised at how beautiful and sparkling clean a village can be.

Further details
To follow one of the many narrow passageways is to run the risk of succumbing to the enchantment of the streets. Nerja on the coast is only 10 kilometres away. Nerja a popular resort, readily accessible from Malaga and its international airport, with motorway access to within a mile of the town centre. Nestling in the foothills of the mountains, the old town, with its narrow, vehicle restricted, cobbled streets, offers a more relaxed holiday from that found in the big resorts further along the coast. With small picturesque bays, the famous 'Balcon de Europa' promenade, numerous small shops, bars and restaurants, and its wonderful all year round climate, Nerja has something for all seasons, especially for families and the more mature holiday maker. Local Excursions The Nerja Caves, one of Spain's biggest tourist attractions, are well worth a visit. A extensive network of fascinating underground caverns with the World's biggest stalactites, plus an auditorium and stage where the annual music and arts festival takes place. Nearby is Maro, a picturesque village with panoramic views across the sea and a small, secluded beach invisible from the cliff top. The mountains shelter many small attractive villages, notably Frigiliana with its restored Roman town and narrow vehicle Free cobbled streets. Further afield is the historic city of Grenada with its famous Alhambra Palace (prebooking advised). Malaga and beyond to Puerto Banus also provide a great day out, as do visits to Mijas, Antequara and the El Torcal National Park.

Accommodation excellent.
Just a quick email to say a big thanks for your holiday last week at Casa Lucy. The Villa was even better than described on the website. A week of luxury in a lovely Villa, with outstanding views of the hills and mountains. We even managed to get in the pool a few times....even though we needed a warm drink to defrost afterwards, it was a small price to pay to take a dip outside in early November :-)

Our representative Juvenal was most helpful, and it was nice to know that someone was on hand any time during our stay if we needed them. We will not be planning on using "package holidays" again in the future as just that little bit of security, knowing someone local was available was all that was necessary.

We were also pleasantly surprised how close we were to the beautiful village of Frigiliana. Within 5 minutes were were able to go to a few restaurants, and a short walk further we had options of many more. Frigiliana was simply beautiful.
