| Other: | The olive mill has a very large area which can be used as another dining space but can be used for group activities such as yoga, exercise etc. There is a CD player, video/DVD machine with huge selection of films, games and books. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Crisp white cotton bedlinen and towels are provided and changed weekly. We do not provide towels for the pool or beach. |
Notes on accommodation
There are heaters in all rooms and mosquito nets on all the windows to ensure a good night's sleep. Visitors who have children or who are elderly or disabled please be aware that there are some steps and open terraces, it is ideally suited to adult groups.

Outside
Bedrooms 1+2 open out onto a terrace by the pool and hot tub a pergola with vine and jasmine to give shade and perfume. Room 3 opens onto a covered area with barbecue and seating. There are sunloungers and chairs by the pool which has lighting for those nightime dips. There are umbrellas, rugs and coolboxes for the beach. Extra charge for heating of hot tub.
Coast/Beach
Castell De Ferro 10 mins drive with 5kms of beaches. Lots of smaller beaches (some naturist) to east and west with spectacular cliff scenary of Costa Tropical. Water park in Almunecar (June-September). We have a 2 person Kayak for anyone wanting to get onto the water (roofrack needed and small charge).
Golf
There are golf courses at Salobrena 15kms. Almerimar 40kms
Nerja 50kms.
Skiing
The Sol y Nieve ski resort in the Sierra Nevada is 2 hours away. It has practically guaranteed sunshine and some of the best snow conditions in Europe. Open November to May with mountain biking and walking popular at other times of the year.
Special interest holidays
Christine is a yoga and exercise teacher, just ask and classes can be arranged. We can provide tutors for groups wanting specific activities. There are some lovely guided walks available. Flowers, birds and wildlife spectacular, orchids, eagles and wild boar, to name just a few.
Travel
Airports Granada 80kms, Malaga 85kms, Almeria 85kms. Car hire is essential (Malaga cheapest in Europe), the roads are excellent and there is so much to see having your own transport gives you the flexibility to be able to get around. Please see website to get details on carhire etc.

Further details
Christine and Walter the owners live on site, they will make sure that you have all you need without taking away your privacy. Christine is an excellent cook and when the place is not used for self catering it is open as a guesthouse. Evening meals are still available on the premises to those self catering visitors who fancy the odd night off from cooking. Sit under the stars and enjoy a great meal and good wine without having to drive.
