Calahonda is midway between Fuengirola and Marbella and a 25 minute drive from the airport. Cabopino beach and marina are just a short 3 minute drive away and Puerto Banus is just 15 minutes drive away. It is also an ideal location for the avid Golf fans. Preferred changeover day is Saturday, however, we can be flexible depending on the time of year. There may be a small charge added if the booking is midweek.

Coast/Beach
2 minutes walk from the apartment will get you on to the beach through the private beach gates. Less than 5 minutes walk you will arrive at the exclusive Max Beach restaurant where you can take lunch on the outside deck area overlooking the sea or fine dine of an evening with stunning sun sets. Out of season you can enjoy the live entertainment in the large lounge/bar or outside during the warmer months.
Golf
The apartment is situated off the main coast road A7 and is, therefore, easily accessible to all golf courses in the surrounding areas. Especially Miraflores, Mijas Golf, La Cala, Cabopino and El Vira which are all within a 5/10 minutes drive.
Skiing
Two hour drive to the Sierra Nevada ski resort.
Travel
Malaga airport is 25 minutes drive away and is serviced by many of the low budget airlines i.e. Easyjet, Excel in addition to BA, Monarch, Iberia. There is an abundance of hire rental cars at the airport or transfer can be arranged for a return fee of 70 euros. In addition a private taxi can be obtained at the airport or take the train direct to Fuengirola and then a bus or taxi to complete your journey to Calahonda. Cost of train and bus 1.5 euors each.
Distances
Mijas village is a 15 minute drive inland where you will find local craft shops, churches, bull ring not to mention restaurants cut in to the mountain with stunning coastal views. Ronda, Granada and Saville are all within 1/2 hrs drive from Calahonda.
Further details
In addition to the local shops, bars and restaurants, just a 10 minute walk away is El Zoco where you will find a further selection of shops, supermarkets and bars. There is a pretty internal courtyard where you can dine alfresco in your chosen restaurant.
Booking notes
A £100 deposit is required to confirm the booking and full payment received 8 weeks prior to departure. A £100 breakage deposit will be required on arrival and will be returned upon departure subject to no breakages/damage etc.
