Perfectly situated for day trips to the historic cities of Ronda, Seville, Granada and Malaga and for a good variety of beaches at the coastal resorts of Marbella, Estepona and Tarifa.This is a rural, non-commercial, typically Spanish location and not for those preferring a more tourist-based holiday. Changeover day
Saturday preferred but flexible by negotiation. The house will be cleaned and ready for guests at 4.00pm on the day of arrival. Guests are asked to vacate the house by 11.00am on the day of departure.

Bedrooms: Master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, fully fitted wardrobes and own large, secluded private terrace.
Bedroom 2 has a queen-size double bed, fully fitted wardrobes and balcony.
Bedroom 3 with two large single beds and fully fitted wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Master bedroom bathroom has WC, two sinks and a shower.
Guest bathroom has WC, two sinks, a bath and separate shower.
Kitchen: Enough seating, crockery and glasses for dining indoors or al fresco. Plenty of utensils and serving dishes and a small cooler box for poolside drinks. Dishwasher, 4-ring hob and oven, American fridge freezer with icemaker, kettle, microwave, toaster.
Utility Room: WC and wash basin, washing machine, iron & ironing board.
Living Rooms: Plenty of comfortable seating, home cinema sound system, DVD player and hi-fi, satellite TV.
Other: Garden dining room with seating for 8 and direct access to 5x 40sq.m. terraces, pool and BBQ area with fireplace, sink and hot and cold running water.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All bed linen and house towels are provided. Beach and poolside towels are not provided and guests are advised to bring extras. Linen and towels are changed fortnightly. The house is cleaned fortnightly. This can be done more frequently by negotiation.

 

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have hot and cold air conditioning, or alternatively panel radiators. All windows and balcony doors have mosquito screens. The garden dining room has underfloor heating for those colder winter months.

Outside
The infinity pool is 9x4m and is for the sole use of guests. It has no shallow end and is not heated. It is fenced and gated with a lock for the safety of young children. The house boasts no less than 5 large terraces, including an amphitheatre and BBQ with a fireplace and outside sink and taps with running hot water for al fresco dining. The pool and terraces have exterior lighting so guests can enjoy relaxing outdoors during the warm evenings. There is also plenty of comfortable garden and poolside furniture.

Coast/Beach
Marbella is approximately 45 minutes drive away. Tarifa, the coolest place on the coast for 'surfies', is about 1 and a half hours' drive away. The village also has large outdoor public pool open in high season and there's a campsite, tennis court and football/sports pitch.

Golf
All coastal golf courses are accessible by car within 45 - 90 mins.

Skiing
The Sierra Nevadas are about 2 and a half hours drive from the house, skiing equipment is available for daily hire.

Special interest holidays
Walking tours up into the Sierra de las Nieves are available in the village for people of all ages/levels. Birdwatchers will enjoy the variety of birds spotted above and around the house. One of only 5 pairs of nesting Imperial eagles have made their home here along with Golden eagles, kites, falcons and lots of very playful swallows. Horseriding is nearby and can be arranged with a guide on request.

Travel
Malaga Airport is approximately 1 hours drive from the village. Jerez and Seville airports about 2 hours away. Car hire is essential.

Distances
Ronda is 35km from the village. The beautiful lakes at El Chorro can be easily reached by car. It takes about 45 minutes to drive there, pedloes and canoes are available for hire and camping overnight is permitted. A great place for swimming, fishing, or just a relaxing lunch.

Further details
Village has 2 reasonably well stocked supermarkets,4 butchers, 2 fishmongers, 4 patisseries, local grocery shops, public telephones, banks and cashpoints, post office, pharmacy, 2 discos, a selection of bars and several good restaurants.There is also a petrol station and a DVD rental shop.

Booking notes
25% deposit on booking, non refundable. Returnable £300 deposit for breakages. Balance to be paid 6 weeks prior to arrival.
