This stunning apartment is situated on the highly acclaimed Baviera Golf Course. This spacious ground floor apartment is one of 36 apartments located within a small community 'Forteleza de Baviera'. The apartment is in a very peaceful location yet only minutes from all the local amenities. This region of the Costa del Sol is blessed with astonishing beauty and is said to have the 'best climate in Europe'. This is partly because the area is protected from the cold North winds by the Sierra de Almijara and Sierra Nevada mountain ranges. This apartment is ideal for golfers, families, or just about anyone who wants to enjoy this beautiful unspoilt region of Andalucia.

| Bathrooms: | Both Bathrooms are fully furnished with shower/bath, w/c and bidet. The 2nd bathroom is en suite to the master bedroom. |
| Kitchen: | Large luxury kitchen which has been finished to the highest standard to include black granite worktops with all chrome appliances including a large fridge freezer, microwave cooker with ceramic hob and integrated dishwasher. |
| Utility Room: | Washing machine, hot water boiler, put-u-up beds, ironing board etc. |
| Living Rooms: | A large living/dining room has been tastefully furnished with a six-seater dining table, leather sofas and elegant artwork adorning the walls. There is also Sat TV, DVD player and a Hi-Fi system. Patio doors lead onto the large private terrace. |
| Other: | All rooms have sun blinds and are dressed with elegant custom made curtains. There are 2 terraces; the larger one has a 6 seater dining table and parasol, BBQ, sun beds and hammock. The smaller terrace overlooks the pool and has a small cafe-style table. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
All bed linen and towels are provided, however please supply your own beach towels. A maid service can be provided on request. |
Notes on accommodation
2 sets of golf clubs & a set of skis are available for the guests' use only (2 hour drive).
Accessibility
The entrance to the apartment, swimming pool and underground car park are fully accessible by wheelchair with a lift to take you from the car park to the apartment.
Outside
The gardens and swimming pool can only be enjoyed by the guests or residents of 'Forteleza de Baviera' as the community is fully secure. The region has an average of 320 days of sunshine per year, so we are sure you will enjoy great weather during your stay.
Coast/Beach
The beach and yachting marina at Caleta de Velez is a 10 min walk from the apartment. Caleta has over 5km of sandy beaches and is also home to the largest marina and fishing port East of Malaga, with over 200 marine craft of varying shapes and sizes. Although primarily a fishing port there are many recreational boats offering sailing, cruises and a variety of other watersports. The fish market at Caleta is on every day except Mondays it starts at 3am and finishes at 6am.
Golf
The 18 hole Baviera Golf course and Driving Range was completed in 2003. The course commands stunning sea and mountain views and was designed by top Spanish pro Jose Maria Canizares who played in four Ryder cups. The course can accommodate all level of players from the novice to the professionals.
Baviera Golf includes Clubhouse, restaurant, pro shop changing rooms and showers.
Lessons, trolleys, buggies and club hire can be found in the Clubhouse. Driving Range is 300 meters and clubhouse 500 meters from the apartment.
Skiing
The Ski resort of the Sierra Nevada is a 2 hour drive away and is Europe's most southerly ski resort. It is open from December through to April. There are a set of skis in the apartment for the guests use. The resort has many ski schools with very friendly and understanding instructors.
Travel
Malaga airport is 30 min drive and is easy to navigate. Directions from the airport to the apartment will be supplied. I would suggest car hire but is not essential.
Distances
Torre del Mar is the nearest large town and is only a 5min drive.
The multi award winning whitewashed village of Frigliana with its narrow cobbled streets and passageways is a 20 min drive.
Nerja the most well known town on the Eastern Costa del Sol is also 20mins drive. Take the coast road for a truly scenic route.
Granada with its spectacular Alahambra Palace is a 90min drive.
There are many other beautiful & interesting towns nearby including Velez Malaga, Competa, Torrox & Lake Vinuela.
Further details
Caleta has some excellent bars and restaurants with 'The Eclipse' being one of the best in the area.
If you walk along the pleasent Esplande which follows the coast from Caleta to Torre del Mar you will find many more Tapas bars and restaurants and for the young and energetic the night clubs.
The nearest supermarket is a 20 min walk, there is a large shopping mall 'El Ingenio' which is a 5 min drive
Caleta has a market on a Saturday morning from 10am-2pm well worth a visit!
Other attractions Go-karting and the waterpark are only a 5 min drive.
Estadio de Rosaleda home of Malaga C.F is 30 min drive.
