The Villa is in a quiet road, a few minutes walk to 4 restaurants, a bar, tennis courts/club and a well stocked supermarket. Mini-golf and other children's amusements are nearby as is the beautiful sandy beach. The area boasts several golf courses, numerous small coves (inc. a nudist beach) to explore by boat or rambling coastal paths. The old medieval town of Pals has several good restaurants and bars and overlooks a valley famous for its rice crop and fruit orchards.

Prices shown are for the Villa per week in UK Pounds Sterling. Euros are also accepted. There is also a damage deposit payable of £150 per week which is returnable subject to satisfactory inspection of the Villa following departure.
Discounts available on 2 week lets and late availability offers before June excl Easter/Whit. During some months, mid week bookings accepted subject to availability.

Changeover day
Arrivals after 4pm on Saturdays. Departures by 10am on Saturdays. Or otherwise by agreement in writing for mid-week lets.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed, air conditioning, patio doors on to balcony overlooking garden and pool, and en-suite shower room.
Bedrooms 2 & 3 twin beds + fans. Also overlook garden & pool.
Bathrooms: En-suite to bedroom 1 with bath, shower, wc and handbasin.
Family shower room with wc, washbasin and walk-in shower.
Ground floor washroom with wc.
Kitchen: Large kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, electric kettle, juicer, food processor, coffee percolator and good quality pans/utensils, fire extinguisher and fire blanket.
Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron & board, torch, bbq equipment, numerous beach toys, air beds etc; hoover, cleaning equipment.
Living Rooms: Lounge with 2 sofas, tv, video & dvd, coffee table, glass cabinet with books, videos, cds, games, maps and local information. Separate dining area with table + 6 chairs, CD/radio/tape. Telephone & Internet Broadband connection available on request/payment

Linen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included through agents who will also supply additional cleaning and linen (extra cost).

 

Notes on accommodation
There is a working grate with an open fireplace (with fire guard) and full central heating for early/late holidays. The villa is particularly suitable for children as pool is visible from all rooms, and villa enclosed by gate. Please note for your comfort and safety and that of other guests, the Villa is a no-smoking area, so smokers must smoke outside and dispose of cigarette butts safely.

Private pool 6m x 3m within a splendid garden, bougainvilla, jasmine and lavender in terracotta pots, pine trees, grapevine and mature shrubs. There is an outside covered eating area with large table and six chairs, BBQ, 5 loungers and 2 BBQs.

Coast/Beach
3 minute drive, or ten minute walk to long sandy beach at Playa de Pals, or a short drive to numerous coves for scuba diving (Aiguafreda) surfing (Sa Riera) snorkelling (Ses Negres) marine reserve or lively beaches at Calella, Estartit etc. There is also a nudist beach in a private cove nearby.

Golf
3 golf courses nearby. Emporda Golf Course 8 minutes by car, Serre de Pals, 3 minutes by car. This is 'golfing' country all year round. For further info search the web under 'Golf Courses Pals Spain'

Travel
Driving from UK - approx. 12 hours from Calais. Best value is low cost budget airline to either Girona (40 mins from Villa) Perpignan (l.5 hr) or Barcelona (1.5 hrs). Car hire useful if visits inland to rice fields, mountains, medieval villages intended. Nearest railway station is at Flaca (25km).

Distances
Barcelona by car - 1.5-2 hrs. Girona 40 mins. Monastery at Torroella 15 mins, Pyrenees 2.5 hrs.

Further details
Well stocked supermarket 4 mins walk, Nearby Zoo, Water Park, excellent shopping at Palamos and Playa d'Aro - local Spanish restaurants. All details at Villa.

Booking notes
Booking is confirmed on receipt of deposit of 20% - non-returnable if booking is cancelled less than 6 weeks before commencement, or if the balance is not paid by the due date. Balance is due 6 weeks before commencement. If a booking is made within 6 weeks of commencement, the full payment will be due immediately. A damage deposit of £150 pw also required but returned following satisfactory check by our agents & deduction of telephone/internet charges if provided.
