Within minutes, you have fabulous coastal walks, horse riding, spectacular geology, scuba diving, bird watching - something to keep the whole family entertained at any time of the year. Within one hour's drive, there are a variety of challenging golf courses, including the new Desert Springs Indiana Course and more locally the new El Alboran golf course just 20 minutes drive away. The swimming pool is for the sole use of residents and guests (please check for opening dates).

Outside
There is a secure, shared swimming pool generally open for Easter and then from May through to the end of September.
Coast/Beach
Five mins flat walk to San Jose beach. Five mins in the car takes you to the incredible, unspoilt beaches of Monsul and Genoveses. A lovely 15 min walk from the rear of the villa takes you to Cala Higuera. There are many other very beautiful coves accessible by walking only.
Golf
New 'El Aboran' golf course 20 mins away between our villa and the airport. There are 6 other golf courses within an hour's drive away. Join the San Jose Golf Society and enjoy the discounts offered to members.
Travel
Almeria Airport less than 30 mins drive away. Car hire available at the airport. A car is not essential if you want a beach and restaurant holiday. However, there are many amazing places to visit just a short drive away.
Distances
Almeria 35 minutes away. The eastern end of the famous Alpujarra valley is only 40 mins drive away. Granada and the famous Alhambra Palace is 2 hours easy drive away.
Further details
Horse riding just minutes away. Scuba diving, hiking, nature trails, fascinating geological features, bird watching - plenty to discover in this unique part of the world. Bus services to Almeria.
