We have a beautiful air conditioned 2 bedroom apartment (sleeps up to six) on the Marina De La Torre Golf complex, with wonderful views across the golf course towards the fishing village of Garrucha and out to sea. Our ground floor apartment with large terrace is situated in a favourable position close to one of the two swimming pools within the complex. It is less than a 500m walk to the golf club house with the beach only a further 400m away. Situated between the traditional fishing port of Garrucha with its fine seafood restaurants and the seaside town of Mojacar Playa with a variety of bars and restaurants to suit every taste.

Notes on accommodation
Beautifully maintained complex in an elevated position with stunning views. Uncrowded location suitable for both families and couples alike.

Accessibility
Although our property is ground floor it still had a number of steps leading up to the front terrace area and door!

Outside
Large terrace with patio table and six chairs, two sunloungers plus four lightweight beachloungers. Two communal pools with splash pool.

Coast/Beach
Apartment is situated less than 1km walk from the beach, close to four 4 star hotels whose facilities can be used by apartment guests. Numerous sandy beaches along this coastline.
Good sea fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving and windsurfing available.

Golf
Located on the 18 hole Marina De La Torre Golf Course, which includes pitch and putt, driving range and practice greens. Hire of clubs buggies and lessons available.
Desert Springs and Valle del Este golf courses within an easy drive.

Skiing
Spain's Sierra Nevada mountain range and Ski resort is about 2 hours drive away with a variety of slopes to suit from beginners to the expert! You could be skiing in the morning and back for a relaxing sunbathe by late afternoon. Visit the Alhambra Palace in Granada an easy drive of around 2 hours.

Special interest holidays
Bike hire, Horse riding both available in area. Lovely areas to ramble, hike in unspoilt countryside. Sea fishing from the beach or boat trips. Plenty of activities in and around the sea with hire of equipment and tuition. Besides being on a Golf Course there are three more close by.

Travel
Almeria Airport is approx 45 minutes drive away and most airlines now operate from here, including Ryanair, Easyjet.
Murcia Airport approx 1.5hrs drive.
Alicante Airport approx. 2hrs drive.

Distances
Traditional Spanish towns of Garrucha, Vera and Mojacar Pueblo short drive away.
Water park and Go Cart track within 10 minutes drive.
The Mini Hollywood stage set theme park, where they filmed many Spaghetti Westerns, is less than an hour's drive.

Further details
Good selection of supermarkets, shops and restaurants in Garrucha and Mojacar Playa.
Colourful markets in Vera, Garrucha and Mojacar.
Tourist train operates along the seafront during Summer months with pickup point from nearby hotel. Bus services and taxi services also available.
