The villa is in the rural village of Pago del Humo, is furnished to a high standard, and has large grounds with a further self-contained apartment sharing the garden (see 'Finca Charlett'). There is adequate off-road parking, and the village shops, restaurant and bar are within a few minutes easy walk. The nearby traditional Spanish town of Chiclana has much to offer with its architecture, restaurants, shops and markets. This part of Andalucia has a rich cultural and historical heritage. The area has a magnificently diverse landscape. Nearby there is a national park which attracts migrating birds. Most of the year storks can be seen, many electricity pylons having nests on them. This is the area that the Spanish themselves come to on holiday.

Other: There is a small library of books, DVD's and CD,s for the use of guests.

linen/maid service: 		Towels and linen are included in price and changed weekly.

Accessibility
There are no steps either within the property nor in the garden.

Outside
The villa has a south facing loggia, and use of the garden with various seating areas, some under large mature shady trees. There is also a BBQ and outdoor shaded cooking area with fridge at the poolside for sole use of the villa. The large swimming pool is 9m by 5m. The apartment also has use of this pool and garden.

Coast/Beach
There are beautiful unspoilt long white sandy beaches. La Barrosa beach has been granted the Blue Flag for Clean Seas of Europe ever since this award was founded. Also nearby are totally undeveloped beach areas with sand dunes. La Barrosa beach is 10 minutes drive from Pago del Humo. Conil de la Frontera, a lively little Spanish seaside resort, also with a beautiful beach, is around 15 minutes drive.

Golf
There are several golf courses in the area, one of which was designed by Severiano Ballesteros. All of these courses are within 10-15 minutes drive of Pago del Humo.

Airports:
Jerez de la Frontera is 45 mins.
Seville is 1.5 hours
Gibraltar is 1.5 hours
Malaga is 2.5 hours
Car use is essential, and car-hire available at all the airports. We can supply maps of routes from Jerez & Malaga.

Distances
Chiclana de la Frontera is 10 minutes drive
Cadiz is a 30 min drive.
Jerez is a 30 min drive.
Seville is 1.5hr drive.
Gibraltar is a 1.5hr drive.
There are many white hilltop villages within easy driving distance.
