Located on the edge of a development one mile north of the village of Benitachell, the villa has splendid views south east over the valley towards the village with its church on the hill. Benitachell is halfway between Alicante and Valencia, near the towns of Javea and Moraira. Benidorm is half an hour away. There are many sandy beaches and rocky coves in the area. The site is entered through lockable gates on to a paved area with parking for several cars. An arch leads up four steps to the large patio with a kidney shaped pool (8m by 4m) with ample secluded sitting area with garden furniture and umbrellas. A flight of steps leads up to the naya (covered veranda)and to the main floor with and extensive living area, kitchen and two bedrooms and bathrooms. Downstairs, there are two further bedrooms, a bathroom and a utility room. All bedrooms are air-conditioned. The layout is ideal for two families sharing. The downstairs is never let out separately.

We are happy to consider any starting and finishing day. At busy times, arrival after 4pm, leave by 10am .

Towels (except beach towels) and linen are provided and changed weekly. Beach towels are provided, but must be washed by renters.

Notes on accommodation
All rooms have central heating. There is a gate at the top of the naya steps down to the pool and patio area. Hence toddlers can be confined to the main floor of the house. On the naya there is a table and six chairs (see more photos).
Air conditioning is available in the bedrooms at night.

Outside
Our own pool, kidney shaped (8m by 4m), with Roman steps, is set in the middle of a large patio with non slip paving. There are many chairs, recliners, two umbrellas and a table. The sitting area is secluded. There is a built in barbeque near the swimmming pool.
There is a side garden with small citrus trees and shrubs and flower beds at the back.

Coast/Beach
The nearest sandy beaches are at Moriara and Arenal near Javea. Driving time is about 15 minutes. There are numerous rocky coves within 20 -30 minutes. There are huge sandy beaches at Calpe and Denia (30- 40 minutes).

Golf
Javea's 9 hole course is 5 minutes away. There are 18 hole courses at Denia (20 minutes), and at Oliva and Benidorm (30 minutes). There are also some other 9 hole courses.

Travel
Alicante Airport is one hour away using the toll autovia. Valencia is slightly further; Murcia is 1 1/2 hours. It is essential to have the use of a car.

Distances
Benitachell is 1 1/2 km away; there are shops, supermarkets and banks and some restaurants and pubs. One pub and restaurant is 10 minutes walk away. There are many restaurants and cafes in Moraira (5km) and Javea (7km), as well as inland at Teulada (4km).

Further details
Inland there is spectacular secenery and walking country. There are weekly markets in the local towns. There are theme and water parks in Benidorm. There is a night club in Moraira and several in Benidorm.

Booking notes
Please contact the owners directly, either by e-mail or phone. A deposit of 25% is payable to confirm the booking. The balance and a refundable deposit of £200 against damage and are payable 8 weeks before commencement of the hire. Cancellation with less than 8 weeks before arrival date can be discussed.
