Notes on accommodation
Alcazaba is very safe with guards patrolling the complex 24 hours a day. It also has 24 hour English speaking reception available to call taxis etc. It is absolutely perfect for children with a pool side lunch time restaurant/snack bar available.
Outside
The award winning gardens of Alcazaba are truly a tropical oasis; the stunning 4 interconnecting pools are surrounded by terraces with sun lounges and umbrellas. There is a lifeguard during the summer. The indoor leisure club has a small heated pool, sauna and gym. The 24-hour reception / security speak English and can be called on to help with any problems. Parking is outside the apartment. There is a lift to the apartment. The bedrooms have special noise reducing triple glazing. You can hear a pin drop and sleep like a baby even when the dust cart comes around in the morning to pick up the rubbish.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is within 5 minutes walk of Puerto Banus with a large selection of shops and restaurants. 1 minute’s walk to the tennis club, and 5 minutes walk to the golden beaches that stretch as far as the eye can see. You can walk along the beach to Marbella town (1 hour) or take a taxi 5 minutes or a boat from the port.
Golf
Marbella is famous for its range of breathtaking golf courses, most with spectacular views of both the sea and mountains.
Skiing
Within 2 hours drive of the apartment.
Travel
Malaga airport is less than 1 hour by car; taxis are easy to get at the airport. Hire cars are also simple to arrange and the roads easy to use. We can arrange to have you picked up by an English speaking driver.
Distances
Less than 5 minutes to the port, beach and main shops.
Further details
The amazing department store El Cortez Ingles, is within a 2 minute stroll, daily newspapers, every food conceivable and plenty more can be bought and delivered from the air conditioned shoppers paradise. The local beach has a varied selection of water sports, fishing and boat hire can be arranged in the port, and there are a huge number of tourist attractions for both adults and children in the immediate vicinity.
