Our villa consists of 2 floors and a large garden and a private pool. The pool can be heated in winter. It is situated in a very quiet urbanisation in Maro near the caves of Nerja. The villa has lovely sea and mountain views. The local shops, restaurants and bars of Maro are 1km and Maro beach is 1.5 km. In Nerja you will find more shops, restaurants, bars and the rest of the pretty beaches. The caves of Nerja are 200 meters from the villa. For more photos please see weblink.

Notes on accommodation
In the cold months the house can be heated with the wood burner and a gas heater.
In summer it is pleasant to do the cooking in the outside kitchen, so you can make the ideal summer living near the pool area.
The villa (6)and our neighbours house (4/5) are suitable for nice family holidays (up to 12 persons).

Outside
The private pool in the secluded garden and can be heated. The garden is full of flowers. It is surrounding the house.
Ample parking space on the little plaza (cul de sac)next to the villa in Calle Simoom.
Coast/Beach
Beach and coast of Maro 5 min. driving. This beach has 1 lovely chiringuito for typical Spanish food.
The beaches of Nerja are 10 min by car. There you will find lots of bars, restaurants,chiringuitos and shops.
Of the cliffs of Nerja you will find more secluded beaches. 15 Min. towards Granada you will find a nudist beach.
Golf
Golf is available in Bavaria Golf in Caleta de Velez(15 min).
Skiing
Skiing is only 1,5 hour away in the Sierra Nevada.
Beautifull skiing area with 70 pistas.
Special interest holidays
We ourselves regular go for walks in the area.
We would love to show you some of these walks.
The best one to do in is Rio Chillar (summer).
Walking is called senderismo in Spanish.
Travel
Malaga airport is a 45 minute drive.
It is also possible to use the airport in Granada.
Car hire is not essential as the bus to Nerja and Malaga leaves every hour from the caves of Nerja(200 m).
Distances
Caves of Nerja 200m. Typical Spanish village of Maro 500m. Lively town of Nerja 10 min by car, 20 minutes walk over a beautiful new foot path.
Also a good basis to visit Andalucian city's as Granada, Malaga, Cordoba, Sevilla and Gibraltar.
Further details
The village of Maro has all the basic needs like, shops, bars, restaurants, and church. The area of Nerja is also well known for the beautiful mountain walks you can make in the area. Another typical Spanish village nearby is Frigiliana.
