Notes on accommodation
This is an immaculately maintained apartment and we ask our guests to treat it as if it were their own. Please restrict smoking to outside the apartment. The whole apartment is fully air conditioned with a heating option if needed. There is a childrens play park adjacent to the complex. Cots and high chairs can be hired if requested in advance. Our friendly management agents will provide keys and are available should you need help during your stay. Sorry but no pets.
Outside
There is a large roof terrace, accessed from the balcony, approx 90 sqm in size. It is fully furnished with sun loungers, patio table, chairs, umbrella. Also a balcony, accessed from either the living room or main bedroom, furnished with a patio table and chairs. Beautiful uninterrupted sea views from both areas. 2 large pools are situated within the complex.
Coast/Beach
Calahonda beach is only a 4 minute drive and a short distance beyond are the resorts of Marbella and Fuengirola.
Golf
There are over 30 golf courses in the local area.
Travel
The nearest airport is Malaga airport. Car hire is not essential as you can take the train direct from Malaga airport to Fuengirola (last stop) and then approx. 10 minute taxi ride to the apartment.
Taxis are reasonably priced and there is a handy car/ train service adjacent to the complex that provides a bus service down the hill to the beach with its shops and restaurants.
Distances
Touring Andalucia is marvellous with Malaga, Ronda, Granada, Sevilla and many interesting towns and villages up and down the coast. Gibraltar and even Morocco can be visited in a day. Spectacular views of Gibraltar and the coast of Morocco can be seen from the terraces of the apartment.
Further details
Just around the corner are the local restaurants and supermarket. Down the hill you will find more supermarkets, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes and nationalities. Convenient to the apartment is the Club del Sol with clay tennis courts, gym, sauna and other facilities.
