Stunning air-conditioned penthouse on the first floor on this secure gated resort. Each side of the Penthouse is a welcoming pool for both adults and children. Our Penthouse is suitable for families, couples, Golfers and because there's a lift it's suitable for elderly / infirm. Modern set up includes 4 single beds, large flat screen satellite TV with good selection of DVD,s X Box with games, books, and information guide, there is also an ipod docking station to play your favourite tunes. Resort Town Centre is 5 minutes stroll away, boasts a bar restaurants, supermarket plus a golf shop and tourist information all tastefully set around a shallow water feature. There is also a sports area with a bar, squash, tennis, football pitches internet ect. Our Penthouse balcony is set for 4, enjoy the sun from 10:30 am until it sets behind the mountains. Ideal to sit and watch the golfers as they tee off from the 12th, or simply sit with your favourite drink and wind the day away in total peace.

Changeover day is flexible providing there is sufficient time after a previous guest has vacated.

Bedrooms: Both bedrooms have 2 single beds, suitable groups of men our women. Ample wardrobe space, clothes hangers and cupboards. Both are tastefully decorated and are private. The main bedroom has a set of patio doors that leads straight on to the balcony.
Bathrooms: Bathroom has both shower and bath located between both bedrooms and separated by a small anti-space. Towels are provided for each guest for use in the bathroom only. Mirror, sink and toilet complete the furnishings in the fully tiled bathroom. Hairdryer!
Kitchen: The kitchen is small but compact and has all that is required for self catering. Large fridge freezer, Oven and hob, sink, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, cupboards, utensils, glasses and cutlery. American style breakfast bar. Opening window.
Utility Room: Utility room houses the washing machine and cleaning equipment. Also included ironing board and standard iron.
Living Rooms: Large L shaped Sofa pulls out to make a bed. 40inch flat screen TV, IPod docking station, Xbox with games. Board games and cards. cd's, DVDs, books, Magazines info book with maps. Modern dinning table with 4 chairs. Patio doors lead onto the balcony.
Other: Outside balcony equipped with modern table and chairs with parasol and sun loungers. small well planted wall garden irrigated to keep all year. Hosepipe for swilling down. Externally light with old English lanterns and solar lights. socket for the music.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels for each person and fresh bedding is provided. Each family/group pays the keyholder 45 Euros upon arrival for your post apartment clean including the linen. This is included in the total quoted cost of the rental.

Notes on accommodation
A deposit of 100 pounds / euros is required to secure a booking. A post inspection of the property takes place to ascertain damage which if found will be deduct from the same deposit. Otherwise the deposit will be refunded within two weeks of departure from the Penthouse. We can provide welcome packs if you’re arriving late for example, these are at cost and paid to the keyholder. We can assist with flights and car hire. (Recommend car hire) Our Keyholder is English and lives on the resort which proves invaluable, he speaks good Spanish and knows the whole region very well. We Take great pleasure from helping our clients from the booking through to the return home.

Accessibility
There is a lift in the penthouse block so would be suitable for elderly, infirm or wheelchair bound clients. We also cater for small children with high chair and travel cot being available should they be required.

Outside
We are fortunate to have two swimming pools, one either side of the block. Both are situated in their own garden, fully fenced in to prevent small children wandering in or out on their own. The resort has lots of pools that can be accessed by all but they rarely get crowded even in the peak holiday season. 18 hole professional golf course noted to be amongst the most challenging in the area of Murcia fastly becoming the golfing state of Spain. This course expected to become a championship course in the near future. The resort Town centres classy bar is a short stroll away. Themed as an Irish bar with a large terraced area and classy comfortable outside furniture, is a great place to socialise, or relax overlooking the shallow water feature. Or just visit the very well stocked, well priced supermarket and simply take your wine back to the Penthouse and wind the night away on the balcony listening to your favourite music.

Coast/Beach
20 minutes drive to some of the best beaches in Spain at Mazerron or Bolnuevo. Costa calida also has the famous la manga or Mar Menor’s stunning beaches and well worth a visit. Cartagena famous for the Spanish Amada. Half hours drive from the city of Murcia. Or 15 minutes from the mountain villages Totana, Alhama de Murcia with La Santa and Aleado an extra 15 minutes drive. Also close by to camposols many shops, restaurants and takeaways.

Golf
18-hole par 72. Measuring 6,900 metres from the furthest tee hilly championship course with 4 lakes and undulating greens. Jack Nichlaus designed this exclusive and unique course which will certainly live up to any golfers expectations and more. Driving Range, Pro Shop, club hire, buggy hire, trolly hire and tuition are available on site. Further more the Penthouse is only a short stroll to the golf shop then you can drive your buggy for the rest of the day.

Special interest holidays
The region of Murcia is steeped with history old castles at Lorca and sleepy Aleado worth a visit. The big guns that overlook and protected the Cartagena / Armada fleet. Visit the roman ruins at Cartagena or the Roman baths at Archana. Everywhere has monuments to Christ or our lady, La Santa monastery worth a visit and stay for lunch. Visit the stunning Mar Menor and La Manga strip. On the way to Mazerron is small urbanisation with loads of eating places and take aways including ten pin bowling. For bustling nightlife visit the port of Mazerron, packed with disco bars and night clubs overlooking the Marina. Or simple relax on our balcony with your favourite music DVD or drink.
15 minutes drive to the mountains there are more traditional Spanish restaurants, one such restaurant is the Mariposa where a day on the horses, canoes or Quad bikes prior to having the Menu of the day is fantastic. 9 Euros a head for the Menu Del Dia and very good too. for large parties they will pick you up.

There are several markets on through the week, which are also listed in the book, every day if you want you can visit the Markets (Mazerron, Saturday and a very large one on Sunday).
Shoping; Murcia city is a half hours drive away, known for its large retail centres like neuve condamina in fact Murcia has the most shopping centres in Spain outside Madrid. Very modern shops and slightly ahead of our fashion with clothes. They still have a C&A believe it or not. There are several water parks in the region for family days out.
Coming soon is to be Europe’s largest Theme park which will be ten minutes drive away from Condado de Alhama resort which will make the region even more popular than it is now.

Booking notes

We all had a great time and the facilities in the apartment were 1st class – it was spotless; the bedrooms were a great size and beds very comfortable; great shower and bathroom facilities; kitchen area was superb with loads of cutlery and crockery and massive fridge; and lounge area with the flat screen tv and games console was very comfortable and relaxing.
 
I was very impressed how well manicured all the garden areas are. The pool was superb and a great size and you could eat your lunch off the pool area it was so clean. It was obvious the resort and apartments are regularly maintained to an extremely high standard.   
I loved the golf course and facilities – it was not only very challenging, but also beautifully maintained and the scenery for miles around was breathtaking.   
Overall, I can’t fault anything about the apartment and it comfortably accommodated the four of us and can’t wait to go back!

Hi I am Tony. I live in and work in England with my wife Dawn. I work as a project Manager in Construction and Dawn works in A&E, only our youngest of our three children still live with us now however; our 3 grandchildren keep us busy at home. My wife and I both work long hours, but spend most of our holidays in Murcia Spain, We fell in love with Murcia years ago. One day we will retire to the fine Murcian climate and culture and just blend in. Until then we continue to work hard and chase our dream.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Murcia is where the Spanish go for their vacations known as the garden of Spain and boasts one of the best climates in Europe. Year purchased: 2011 We loved Murcia and Mazerron so much because of the unspoilt beauty friendliness and relaxed way of life. We searched for a resort that had a golf course as they tend to be well designed and well looked after. We found Condado de Alhama only 20 minutes drive from Mazerron. set around a lush green golf course with several lakes and a back drop of the Sierra Espuna mountains. Mazerron is an unspoilt sea side town and boasts a stunning marina a great range of shops bars and restaurants, many sandy beaches some busy and some quiet, There really is something for everyone here.

Our Penthouse is on a secure resort is gated and manned night and day with security. Access to the Penthouse is via a staircase or a lift to the first floor therefore suitable for elderly infirm or partially disabled. The resort has been designed for the sports enthusiast. Golf, Tennis, Squash, five a side pitches or full size and many swimming pools. July and August apart from being very hot can be busy but never too busy. Our English Keyholder meets and greets on arrival and ensures you settle in ok, he lives close by and can assist with his knowledge of the area speaking both English and Spanish. We provide necessary assistance during your booking and pride ourselves in ensuring your vacation runs smoothly from booking to returning home. Our Standards are as high as yours.
