"Sueños" is situated on the outskirts of San Javier on a small development of 39 houses. It is an area favoured by the Spanish for their own homes. The house has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, balcony, private roof top solarium, and parking outside.The lounge and master bedroom are air conditioned whilst a portable air conditioning unit is also provided. A CD/radio is provided along with satellite TV. The property was completed in July 2004. It has excellent links with the local motorway network. The town is within 5 minutes walking distance, but a car is recommended to enjoy all the area has to offer.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 has a double bed, fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinets. It has it´s own balcony.
Bedroom 2 has two single beds, fitted wardrobe and bedside cabinet.
Bathrooms: Main bathroom is at first floor level with bath / shower over, WC, Bidet and wash hand basin.
On the groung floor is a shower room with WC and wash hand basin.
Kitchen: Fully fitted kitchen with electric oven / hob, large fridge freezer, microwave oven, toaster, electric kettle, all crockery and utensils. Tea towels are included. The ironing board is located in the kitchen cupboard.
Utility Room: This semi open feature to the rear of the property houses the automatic washing machine, boiler, external sink and washing lines (pegs provided).
Living Rooms: The lounge diner has a large 3 seater sofa, rocking chair, table and 4 dining chairs, and sideboard with TV and CD/ Radio and DVD.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are all provided for use in the house only.
Cleaning and change of linen is undertaken on a weekly basis.

 

Notes on accommodation
Back up gas and electric fires are provided for winter and fans for summer.
Security grills are fitted as necessary. A safe for valuables is installed.
Everything for the baby or toddler can be hired through agencies such as 'Tots Away' - we will be pleased to put you in touch.
Sueños is a no smoking environment although the patios can be used.
As this is a family house in a very residential area, we regret we cannot entertain pets or all male/female parties and will only consider applications from families and couples over 25 years of age.

Outside
The development is built around a good sized swimming pool with its own toddlers area. It is very private. Usual rules apply.
In addition to the roof top solarium (with loungers, sun beds, table and chairs), there is a delightful balcony from the principal bedroom and a large patio to the front of the house leading to the road. It is great fun to eat "al fresco" on the solarium and patio.

Coast/Beach
All the beaches of the "Mar Menor" are within a short distance, but the nearest (5 minutes drive) is Santiago de la Ribera with its palm tree lined walkways, beach cafes, and restaurants. The Mar Menor is a natural lagoon famous for it´s waters healing properties, where the sea temperature is usually 3% above the adjoining Mediterranean. Altogether San Javier township enjoys 35 kilometres of beaches.

Golf
There are 5 championship courses within 20 minutes drive - Villamartin, Las Ramblas, Campoamar, La Manga and Torre Paceco. Several more local courses are in the process of construction and within walking distance of the house is a golf 'school' and driving range.

Travel
Murcia Airport is just 7 minutes drive from the house and is served by most of the budget airlines. Alicante will add approximately 1 hours driving to your destination plus motorway tolls, but is a good alternative. A car is recommended to enjoy all the region has to offer and there are several national companies operating from both airports. We will supply details on request. Alternatively our local agents will provide at extra cost a pick up service to and from the airport.

Distances
Outside of San Javier and Santiago de la Ribera, Los Alcazares is good for restaurants and bars and is about 8 minutes drive. The cities of Cartagena and Murcia are some 40 minutes drive but both are full of history and well worth a visit. For the "bright lights" La Manga to the South and Torrevieja to the north are just over 30 minutes away by car.

Further details
San Javier has an abundance of retaurants, shops, supermarkets and banks within a short walk. Also about 5 minutes drive away on the San Pedro road is the 'Dos Mares' out of town shopping center with hypermarket, as well as cinemas restaurants and shops.
Every day in the San Javier district you will find one of Spains famous Street markets, do try one, they are great fun and the bargains amazing (if you are careful!).

Booking notes
A 25% non refundable deposit is required to reserve the house with the balance payable 4 weeks before arrival. A Refundable breakage deposit of £100 is also required on payment of the balance of the hire charge - this will be returned on receipt of a satisfactory report from our agents.
