Our attractive apartment is situated in the small friendly spanish town of Isla Plana. We have furnished the apartment to a high standard, with comfortable leather sofas, lcd tv with english and spanish stations, a modern music system with i-pod docking, and a playstation. The apartment is situated only 150 metres from the beach, there is a feature spiral staircase leading to the solarium, the solarium is the most striking feature, it is 52sqm large and offers panoramic sea views, it is exclusive use to the apartment. This has a chill out area with sofa, chairs and coffee table, with soft lighting for the evening. There is also a bbq on the solarium, plus four sun loungers, a new feature of a shower has been added 2011. The bedrooms both have, english style full divan double beds, and have built in wardrobes with plenty of storage. There is built in air conditioning, it can be used for heating as well as cooling. There is an off road reserved parking space.

Other: There is a balcony overlooking the gardens, which has another dining area with a table and four chairs

linen/maid service:
Towels and linen are provided, (not beach towels) the beds will be made for when you arrive at the apartment. The washing machine allows you to freshen up the towels and linen as often as required. This is included in your 50 euros hand over cleaning.

Accessibility
The apartment is reached via a feature spiral stair case with another spiral staircase to reach the solarium. This may not be suitable for the less mobile.

The nearest beach is in Isla Plana only 150 Metres away. There are lots of other local beaches please see our website for details.

Travel
Murcia (San Javier) airport is aprox. 45 mins and Alicante airport 90mins
Airport pick up can be arranged, we recommend hiring a car to make the most of the area surrounding the apartment.

Distances
We recommend a trip over the mountains to Cartagena, this is a historic naval port and has boat trips around the Harbour, an international shopping district as well as museums and other attractions.

Further details
Isla Plana is a typical Spanish resort, enjoyed for holidays by the Spanish themselves, it is close to the resort of La Azohia and the town of Peurto Mazarron, you can enjoy a Spanish holiday as the Spanish themselves do and at the same value they enjoy.
Isla Plana is a small village but it has all the essentials such as a bank with a cash machine, a bakery with fresh bread daily and pastries your diet will not thank you for, a newsagent with English papers and a Pharmacy with a Chemist who speaks perfect English, these are all within easy walking distance. The sea front in Isla Plana has recently been refurbished, giving a modern but still Spanish feel, sit on the terrace of the local bar and enjoy a drink whilst watching the sun set over the sea.

There is a choice of several restaurants all within walking distance of the apartment.

The area around Isla Plana has crystal clear waters, there are many Scuba dviing schools in the area, have a trial dive whilst you are here. There are also wind surfing and other watersport facilities nearby.

Very pleasant

When we opened the door of the apartment we were positively surprised. Everything was clean and well cared for. The beds were made and and on the roof-terrace we found a fully complete equipment to enjoy the sun and the panoramic view over the sea and Isla Plana. The apartment is part of a small-scaled holiday-complex of appr 20 units located directly to the original center of the town and only 75 m from the beach. You can see that the owners really DO care how they rent their apartment to their guests in a positive way. 3 x nice (nice people nice apartment and nice holiday)

Hello, we are a private couple who bought the property for our own use, we furnished it to a high standard for ourselves, we love the area but cannot spend as much time there as we would like, so we decided to rent out the property for others to enjoy. We still use it, keeping it in top condition, we hope you will appreciate the standard is above the normal level you would expect in a rental. We also love feedback from guests who discover new things in the area which we use and pass on to you.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought in this location because it is a typically Spanish area, it is not over developed, new property is not allowed to go above 3 stories in the village. There are several restaurants very near the apartment and a social club on the front which is open to all and is incredibly good value. We like to catch a bus in to the nearby Port of Mazarron which has many restaurants and bars with entertainment and then catch a taxi home. For quieter nights we eat on the balcony or enjoy a quiet night under the stars on the roof solarium. During the day the beach is very close to just wander down to, or for the day trips The historic city of Cartagena is a ride over the mountains, we have a guide pack in the apartment of things to do and see which has been added to by other guests.

Unique benefits of the property
We purchased this property owing to the solarium, when you first step up on to the solarium we hope you will be as delighted as we are with the view, there are four sunbeds umbrellas and a lounge area to have a drink and relax under the stars at night. We have purchased very good quality outdoor furniture and our guests appreciate the difference this makes.
