El Nidito is the sister cottage to El Nido designed by the same architect and provides its guests with comfort and privacy with private pool straight off the south facing fenced patio surrounded by fruit trees and bamboo. The view is to the Lujar mountain and the patio catches the sun all year round. Accommodation is comfortable for 2 couples or a family with children of any age. Orgiva is a well situated town close to the sea, Granada and the Alpujarra mountains where you can walk, ride and ski all within a short distance. Plenty to do if you feel the need or just a perfect place to relax and take in the local atmosphere of the rural life in southern Spain. The cottage is looked after by Clare and Ainsley who will help with any needs that arise and are on call for meals and massage treatments and can arrange other services - see website for more details.

Living Rooms: Lounge/diner/kitchen - dining area has butterfly table with 4 chairs, dining area has comfy chairs and settee, TV/DVD, stereo system, SKY satellite system, books and games. Good information pack and lots of maps.

Linen and towels are provided and a comprehensive information file about the area, restaurants, walks, etc. Property is cleaned for your arrival.

Notes on accommodation
Water is heated by a butane gas water heater. Electic heaters throughoutfor the winter.
The building has well insulated walls and roofs and through ventilation, mains electricity and good piped water, tiled floors with rugs.
TV & DVD player with English satellite system so you can watch and listen to your favourite UK stations (Radio 4, BBC1, 2, 3, ITV, Channel 4 and 5). Stereo also provided.
Fans provided as well as A/C unit.
There is plenty of space for a baby - cot & high chair provided. Very comfortable accommodation for couples or a family and is decorated with plenty of attention to detail.
For larger groups of up to 8 our sister cottage el nido can be rented together with el nidito.

Accessibility
Cottage is on one floor with wide doors so is comfortable for prams etc.

Outside
Private garden with pool off the patio area. BBQ area also. There are sunloungers provided all with cushions and plenty of seating. The pool is approx 6 x 3m. The patio has been fenced so young children and babies can be on the patio with no worry about them getting into the garden by themselves. This is well shaded too.

Coast/Beach
Beaches at Salobreña/Motril on the Costa Tropical 35 minutes.

Travel
It is possible to fly to Granada from the UK. From Malaga airport it is 140km along coast road or 185km dual carriageway via Granada. Non car users will find its location very amenable and a pickup service is available for airport pickup and day trips. However, car hire can be booked through agents in the UK for pickup at Malaga and Granada airport.

Distances
Orgiva short walk/drive away.
Granada 50 minutes.
Nerja 1 hour.
Trip into the higher mountains approximately 20 minutes.

Further details
Orgiva is at the heart of Las Alpujarras, the beautiful valleys and foothills between the Sierra Nevada and the coastal range. Of great interest to walkers, birdwatchers, botanists, writers and painters or just for a great holiday away from it all. Many activities including pony trekking, hang-gliding, golf and skiing. The last outposts of the Moors after the fall of Granada in the 16th Century, their Berber villages dot the mountainsides. Ski slopes 95 minutes. Please email or phone for availability - once confirmed a non returnable deposit of £100 secures your booking and the balance to be paid at least one calendar month before the start of your holiday. Details of payment sent once booking is taken. UK cheques or direct transfer is the easiest method of payment. When we confirm your reservation on receipt of deposit, we will send you details of how to find us. On arrival, the information pack provides details of the locality, touring and walks.
