The flat is located on the seaside end of the 'Rambla Poble Nou'. It is less than 15 minutes level walk to the metro along this pedestrianised avenue with its lively cafes and restaurants as well as shops, banks and supermarkets. It is an eight minute metro ride into the city centre tourist areas. There is a number 41 bus stop outside which takes you into the heart of the city. The flat is right on the coast, as close as you can get to the Bogatell promenade and beach (from which there is reputed to be good sea fishing). It is on the 4th floor (with lift), and looks out over the Parc de Poble Nou to the sea from all the main rooms. The flat has windows in every room and provides comfortable accommodation for up to 6 people. There is a small double bedroom, a larger bedroom with a double sofa bed (and small balcony) and a further bedroom with twin beds.The apartment gives you the opportunity to combine both a beach and a city break holiday. Not suitable for stag and hen parties.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per night and per week (for up to 4 people) in UK pounds. High season 19 - 26 March, 24 May - 24 September and 16 December - 6 January. For groups over 4 people, upto a maximum of 6, please add £15 per person per night. Normal rental is for 5 nights minimum in high season. There is a one-off charge of 50€ for cleaning payable locally. Prices cover water, gas and electricity costs.

Flexible. The flat is available from 3pm on the day of arrival, and we ask you to vacate by 10am on the departure day.

Linen and towels provided. You will need to bring beach towels. The flat is cleaned after each stay and extra linen and towels are provided for longer stays.

 

Notes on accommodation
The flat is on the fourth floor, accessed by a lift. There is air-conditioning which also includes a heating unit (although the position and design of the building makes both these unnecessary most of the time). A smoke alarm is fitted.

Travel
Barcelona (El Prat) airport is the nearest - buses run every 12 minutes to the city centre; taxis cost around 28 euros from the airport to the flat. Girona and Tarragona (Reus) airports are within fairly easy reach (approximately 1 hour by train + taxi from station). Barcelona's transport infrastructure is excellent (metro, buses and trams) and it is unlikely you would need use of a car.

Distances
The flat is 12 minutes level walk from the Metro, Poble Nou station. It is a short 8 minute metro ride into the city centre with its tourist attractions. The number 41 bus leaves for Plaza Catalunya every 15 minutes from a stop just outside the flat.

Further details
The flat overlooks the Rambla Poble Nou where there are all the amenities: shops, supermarkets, banks, restaurants and bars. There is an indoor swimming pool nearby.

Booking notes
We require a deposit of 30% to hold your reservation and the remainder should be paid at least eight weeks in advance of your holiday. All payments should be by cheque.
