In the middle of a beautiful mountain area in a Natural Park at an altitude of 900m, you stay in a traditional stone built fully renovated farmhouse with panoramic views, including the peaks of the Sierra Nevada. The farmhouse and the location have a lot to offer to families and those with a spirit for adventure as well as to those seeking rest and relaxation. Whilst walking through the mountains you pass nearby centuries old Moorish white washed villages which offer a variety of crafts and where you can treat yourself with good food and wine. You can also enjoy the seaside with its large beaches by driving only 45 minutes through magnificent landscape to the Costa del Sol. The closest town is Pampaneira 4km away. Children are very welcome.

Notes on prices
Prices are for property per week in euros. Prices are based on 4 people. For 5 people please add the following, per person, per week: Low: 40 euros per person. Mid: 45 euros per person. High: 60 euros per person.
Changeover day
Saturday in June, July, Aug. and Sept, the rest is flexible.

Notes on accommodation
Please note that 2nd bedroom leads off main bedroom.
Prices for the accommodation include electricity and washing machine etc. Central heating is included in the price (this is generated by the wood burning stove in the owner's house and controlled from there). Wood for the fireplace is not included (you can purchase wood and gas with the owners who live next door - approximately 12 euros for a big box.

Outside
Parking is by the side of the small country road, from there is a short walk, 60m down to the the house. But don't be concerned about your luggage, the owners will arrange its delivery for you. Beautiful countryside all around, there's neither a vehicle in sight nor earshot. There is, however, a traditional working farm next door, not a noisy affair either but there are plenty of goats. There is a small garden area, brimful with flowering shrubs and a small swimming pool with terrace and furniture. Another terrace with wooden floor (4x3m) under a chestnut tree, furniture provided.
Coast/Beach
The coast is 45 mins away. Great beaches and restaurants in Motril and Salobrena.
Golf
Granada Golf Club is a superb 18 hole golf course.
On the coast there is a golf course at Motril.
Special interest holidays
GUITAR: The owner is an internationally known professional guitarist, specialising in FLAMENCO, JAZZ and CLASSICAL styles. Lessons are available at any level, either as an intensive course, or for groups or single students. There is also the possbility of making recordings and for finding out about the Flamenco scene in Southern Spain.

Further details
Walking, horse-riding, mountain biking, (in winter great skiing), paragliding are all available in the area. The area also offers various courses of dancing, Flamenco / Oriental dancing, pottery, photography, languages etc.
Booking notes
A third of the amount has to be paid when making your reservation, the rest upon arrival. A deposit of 100 euros is also required which will be returned entirely unless you break or damage anything. You are asked to leave the house as clean as possible (especially the kitchen).
