Casa Cantal is a very spacious and comfortable villa. The living area comprises a large living room linked by arches to the adjacent dining room which opens onto the rear courtyard. The kitchen adjoins the dining room and there is an archway at counter top level giving an open plan effect between the two rooms. There are three double bedrooms. Outside there are two large terraces affording magnificent views of the beautiful bay of Mojacar as well as a large swimming pool shared between six private villas. The villa is located centrally along the Mojacar beach area.

Outside
There are two large partially covered terraces, one accessible from the living room and the other at roof level. Both have magnificent views of the beautiful bay of Mojacar and are well equipped with tables and chairs for dining. The roof terrace is equipped with loungers for sunbathing. The gardens are well established and provides almost total privacy wherever you are on the property, there is a further terrace to the side of the villa which contains the built in barbecue. Adjacent to the garden is the large swimming pool (11.5m x 6m) and sundeck which is available to six small privately owned villas.
Coast/Beach
The sandy beach is five minutes walk from the villa and situated on the beach is a facility offering sailing, windsurfing , water skiing and canoeing.
Golf
Golf is available at the Cortijo Grande complex which lies on the far side of the small town of Turre just along the road from Mojacar. This takes about 15 to 20 minutes by car. More recently two new golf courses have opened nearby. One is about 5 minutes away at the Marina del Torre development and the other on the far side of Garrucha on the road to the fishing village of Villericos, about 15-20 minutes from the villa.
Travel
The airport of Almeria is an hour by car/coach from the airport to the drop off point for the villa. Alicante Airport is approximately 2 hours drive away. Use of a car/car hire is recommended.
Distances
The ancient Moorish village of Mojacar is about three kilometres away. The fishing port of Garrucha with its colourful market and splendid promenade is a further three kilometres along the coast road. There is a regular local bus that serves all the beach areas and Mojacar village. Microlite flights are offered from the Aeroclub located off the Garrucha bypass going toward Vera 15 minutes drive from the villa.
Further details
There is a very well stocked supermarket only two or three minutes walk away. There are several other supermarkets and shopping complexes located along the beach to choose from as well as a selection of other shops to service your various needs. The markets in Mojacar and Garrucha offer fresh fish meat, vegetable and fruit in abundance.
Booking notes
To confirm a booking we request a 25% booking deposit. The balance of the rental will be payable two weeeks prior to departures. Upon arrival the keys will be handed over by our local representative (30 euros out of office hours charge), you will be asked to pay a breakage deposit of £60 - £80 to cover damaged or missing items. This will be returned in the even there are no dmaged or missing items.
