Just as short stroll from Aigua Gelida beach and two minutes drive to both Tamariu and Aigua Blava beaches this villa is a great base for a family holiday. With its own pool, lovely terraces, big garden, very quiet location it is ideal. Yet it is within easy access of Palafrugell and the beautiful town of Begur with all the facilities. The villa is spacious and well appointed with lots of character. The living area is split level with dining room overlooking the sitting room which opens on two sides to a terrace with bbq on one side and covered area with lovely views to the other side. The furniture is all of good quality and the house is well equipped with all that you need to make your holiday comfortable. You are spoilt for choice with the nearest beaches being some of the most beautiful and unspoilt in the Costa Brava. At our local beach Aigua Gelida, it almost feels like our own private beach as few people even know it is there! Fantastic for children who love to swim and snorkel.

Notes on prices
The price includes all linen hire, normal cleaning and expenses there are no 'hidden extras'.
Linen is changed at the end of each week for holidays of longer than 1 week.
Changeover day
We ask that you arrive on Saturday after 4 o'clock though this is flexible - and leave in the morning by 10 in order to get the house cleaned in time for the next family.

| Bedrooms: | There are two double rooms, the master bedroom is en-suite and opens onto a terrace with lovely views. There are two twin rooms. There is travel cot if necessary. All the beds are of a decent quality and size. |

Two towels per person are provided but we do recommend that you bring towels. Bed linen is provided. |

The pool is 8 metres by 4 metres.
Coast/Beach
Aigua Gelida beach is the nearest beach to the house just at the end of the road. It is a tiny beach and generally not very busy as it is down a number of steps. Tamariu which is two minutes by car away is wonderful with lots of little restaurants on the harbour. The sand is lovely and the sea is crystal clear.
Golf
There are a number of championship golf courses nearby and these may be booked in advance for you. If you give us enough notice we can arrange a full golfing holiday including competitions with English speaking players. We can also arrange lessons with a local English speaking golf professional. Just let us know what you need and we can arrange it for you.
Travel
The nearest airport is Girona about 45 minutes away. Barcelona is about 90 minutes and Perpignan the same. All are really easy to get to and Ryan air has made Girona the best option in terms of price for us.
Distances
Begur (3km) which is absolutely charming with lots of narrow streets with many good restaurants and chic shops. In the evenings during the summer the local council provides entertainment in the main square. Everything from Catalan sardanes dancing to discos for the children (and some adults!).
Further details
Palafrugell (3km) is a better town for grocery shopping with a daily market and a spectacular big market on Sundays. We are about half way between the two places. In the local area there is so much to see and do for everyone. If your interests are the sea, snorkelling, diving, swimming, wine, good food, golf, fishing, walking, art....there's something for you!
