Coast/Beach
45 minutes drive to the coast at Torre del Mar, a typically Spanish coastal town with some exellent fish bars. An hour to Nerja.
Golf
Golf at Torre Del Mar/Caletta de Velez, a 30 minute drive away.
Skiing
The water mill is 1.5 hours drive from the Sierra Nevada.
Travel
Malaga airport is approx 1 hours drive. Granada airport is 1½ hour drive. Driving time from Santander, after ferry crossing from Plymouth is approx 12 hours. Use of a car is essential.
Distances
Periana is 1.5 kilometres away and Granada and the Alhambra are 1.5 hours drive. Seville is 2 hours drive.
Further details
Periana has a range of small food shops, including small supermarkets. There are bakers, butchers, fruit & veg, banks, post office and also a weekly market. A number of bars and local restaurants serve typical Spanish food. At the coast there are large supermarkets and a shopping mal with a hypermarket. The mill is in a good location for walking and interesting drives. Within easy reach of El Torcal National Park, the caves at Nerja, a range of activities, include a water park at the coast. If you would like to have an evening out without driving, a taxi can be contacted.
Booking notes
A deposit of £150 per. week secures the booking. Balance is payable 6 weeks before the holiday commences. Ask about discounts.

We loved the rural scenery. A lovely building with a feeling of history.
The mill was comfortable, a real home from home. The pool was great. Comfy beds and pillows. Periana was a lovely place to visit. We would have happily stayed for longer. We will visit again. Thanks for one of the best holidays we have had.
The molino is absolutely beautiful, youv'e really made the most of it. We loved the garden and the kids made the most of the pool. Periana was a very friendly place. Thank you so much.
