Property description

Situated on the east side of Nerja, Oasis de Capistrano is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens, two communal swimming pools, children's pool, bar and restaurant and is a 20 minute walk from central Nerja and the Balcon de Europa. The apartment enjoys a southerly aspect with wonderful views across Oasis to the sea. Burriana beach can be reached on foot either via a beautiful cliff top path or in a few minutes by car. The property is approached via a few steps and is all on one level. You are greeted with a good sized private garden and beautiful terrace which are well screened and with a secure entrance gate so perfectly safe for children.

Bedrooms:
Bedroom 1 with double bed, fitted wardrobe, bedside tables & lights, ceiling fan, patio doors to sun terrace.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds, wardrobe, bedside table & light, bookcase, ceiling fan, patio doors to sun terrace.

Bathrooms:
Shower, toilet, washbasin, mirror.

Kitchen:
Electric oven and halogen hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, kettle, toaster and ample crockery, glasses etc.

Living Rooms:
Sofa, armchair, dining table and chairs, side table with flatscreen cable TV providing all major UK channels, iPod docking station, CD and radio, fireplace and sliding patio doors through to wonderful sun terrace.

Cleaning/Towels/Linen/Maid service:
Towels and linen are provided and changed weekly. The apartment is cleaned before each rental and additional maid service can be arranged at additional cost if required. Beach towels are not provided but can be arranged through our agent if required.

Accessibility
Due to the steps on the urbanisation and the 8 steps leading to the property itself, our apartment may not be suitable for the very elderly or guests with mobility problems.

Outside
Outside there is a large sun terrace and private garden with a covered dining area with table and chairs for 6 people. There are two sun loungers and a further table and two chairs. For shade there is a sun awning and parasols. Electric barbecue.

Notes on prices
Although a minimum booking of 7 nights is preferred, shorter stays can sometimes be accommodated so please do ask. Also, a discount can be given for stays of more than 4 weeks, although electricity will then be charged for separately. Prices are based on a maximum of 4 adults sharing. Additional adults will incur a supplementary charge of £50 each per stay.

Changeover day
Usually Saturday/Sunday but will try and be as flexible as possible so please do enquire if you have a preferred alternative day.

Booking notes
All bookings to be made via email where possible and will be confirmed when a deposit of £100 is received. The balance will be due 8 weeks before departure.

About the area

Coast/Beach
Burriana is the closest beach and this can be reached within 10 minutes by foot or in a few minutes by car. There are some spectacular, near deserted beaches within 20 minutes drive away or more traditional resort beaches in Nerja or in nearby Torrox.

Golf
There are two full golf courses within driving distance of the property. The nearest is near Torre del Mar, a 20 minute drive away.

Skiing
Skiing is available during the winter season in Granada, less than 2 hours away. You can ski in the morning and be on the beach in Nerja in the afternoon!

How to get there
The nearest airport is Malaga which is about a 45 minute drive away. Alternatively Granada airport is about 1½ hours away.

Distances
The centre of Nerja is about 1 mile away on a very pleasant, fairly level walk. There is a huge car park in the centre of Nerja if you wish to drive, or alternatively there are a number of taxi points around Oasis to make using a taxi easier. The beautiful white pueblo village of Frigliana is about 6 miles away and from there you can drive across the spectacular mountains to Torrox, a further 5 miles. The nearest supermarket is Supersol, a 10 minute walk.

Further Details
Nerja is a beautiful town which provides everything you could wish for in a holiday. There are numerous beaches, the most famous and closest to the apartment being Burriana, where you will find traditional Spanish beach side restaurants and a whole range of further international bars and restaurants. In the centre of Nerja is the Balcon de Europa where you can watch the sunset over a cerveza or vino or cocktail in one of the many bars or restaurants.

"Great location"

This is our third winter stay in this very well appointed apartment. The owner provides an excellent customer service relationship to the point that he welcomes any suggestion on improving the property. The property is well maintained amid a beautiful park and is probable the best location in Nerja. For us Nerja has remained a typically Spanish town and has not been spoilt by over commercialisation as in other locations along the Costa del Sol. Lots of good restaurants and we find that Nerja is an ideal centre from which to explore the surrounding areas.

"Great Place"

This was our 2nd visit to this apartment and we will be returning again next year. Paul's apartment was clean and tidy and had everything we needed (safe, hair dryer, washing machine and sun loungers for the patio). The property is on a very well kept complex with a wonderful pool and grounds and is safe for children to play. There is no shortage of places to eat and supermarkets nearby. There are plenty of walks around Nerja and would recommend a visit to the Sierra Nevada Mountains especially during the ski season. It has a small but ample ski resort with a great lift system and it is only an hour and a half drive away. So you can be on the piste during the day and sat on the beach having a meal in the evening.

"Nice place too stay"

I have just arrived home from a relaxing week . The apartment is lovely it does feel like your holiday home well equipped ,clean and lovely location the gardens give the apartment a nice feel . Buiranna Beach is really nice , with plenty of beachside bars and resturants too choose from. Nerja is a pretty town. The owners directions to get from the airport where spot one . Will definitely return

About the Owner

My partner and I are from London but are currently living in Dallas, USA with our 2 year old mini-schnauzer called Lola!

Why this location?

We originally bought a very old townhouse in nearby Torrox and fell in love with the area. However, maintaining such an old property from a distance became difficult and we therefore sold it and bought this apartment on Oasis, a development that we had always admired. The apartment is lovely and quiet, although very close to the beach and to the centre of Nerja. It meant that we could walk to nearby restaurants rather than worrying about using the car. A recent job promotion for my partner meant a move to America and so started to rent to guests in 2011.

What are the unique benefits of the property?

The property is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens full of tropical flowers and plants that look wonderful all year. It also has a private garden, making it ideal for those with young children and with the two swimming pools, a bar and a restaurant within the grounds, you really don't have to leave or go far if you don't want to. It is an extremely relaxing place to stay!
