Air conditioned and centrally heated. 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, lounge/diner, balcony, kitchen, utility, spiral staircase to private sun terrace above (solarium). Communal swimming pool. Would suit 4 adults or a family with up to 5 people. Marvellous views across orange groves to mountains. 10 mins drive from the start of 15 miles of fabulous beaches. 2 mins to La Finca championship golf course, 5 mins to La Marquesa golf. At least another 3 golf courses within 30 mins. Includes cleaning - no extra charge.

Accessibility
Unfortunately, the doorways are narrow and space too tight for turning wheelchairs etc., especially bathroom - sorry.
Outside
The lounge patio door leads straight on to a large balcony with table and chairs affording magnificent views across the orange groves towards the mountains in distance (relax here with a bottle of wine watching glorious sunsets!). This also has a spiral staircase leading to the private sun terrace (solarium) on the roof of the apartment, which has lighting, electricity and water, and is equipped with 2 sun loungers, 2 reclining sunchairs, table and parasol.
There is a ground level communal swimming pool and sitting out area for users of complex only.
1 space in the secure underground car park is included.
There is a lift giving full access from the car park to all floors.
Coast/Beach
The beach resort of Guardamar is 15 mins drive away. This is the start of approx 15 miles of fabulous sandy beaches stretching north towards Alicante. There are almost continuous beaches from Torrevieja to Santa Pola. Various cafes/restaurants can be found at intervals all along the beaches. More great beaches stretch for miles to the south towards the Mar Menor and La Manga. The major River Segura reaches the sea at Guardamar.
Golf
La Finca championship golf course is half a mile, 2 mins drive round to the clubhouse. Spanish Open is planned here for 2009. La Marquesa golf course is less than 10 mins drive. Villamartin, Campoamor and Las Ramblas are 20-30 mins drive and La Manga is maybe 50-60 mins. Alicante 45 mins. Altorreal 45 mins.
Travel
Algorfa is 30 mins drive from either Alicante or Murcia (San Javier) airports. Almeria airport is 2 hours drive. Car hire is essential for golfers and families wishing to explore. If you want to stay put and relax and enjoy the sun & views, then a taxi would be OK from airport. However, you would be missing out on some spectacular scenery and wildlife around the salt flats, flamingos and all!
Car hire is so easy in Spain or we offer transport from the airport (Alicante or Murcia) for 35 euros.
Distances
Almoradi is an inland market town 5 mins drive away. Torrevieja is the main coastal resort town 15-20 mins away.
Naval Port of Cartegena and the Mar Menor (La Manga) are 1 hours drive to the south. The gorgeous and fascinating mountain top village of Guadalest is one and a half hours drive to the north, inland from Benidorm. Murcia is the biggest regional city half an hour to the west, and Alicante 45 mins to the north.
Further details
Algorfa village has a lovely square which holds regular festivals and a Wednesday market. There is a general store, several smaller general stores, delicatessen, confectionery, 4 or 5 bar/cafes, a disco pub (!), several electrical shops and 2 banks (at least). Almoradi has the usual array of town shops, but to get started, the supermarkets on the outskirts of Torrevieja (10 mins drive) are best, while you "get your bearings".
Booking notes
Bookings by phone or email. £100 deposit required to secure booking, with the balance to be cleared at least 6 weeks prior to holiday. A £75 returnable breakage/security deposit is also required. Open to negotiation - doesn't have to be exactly per week - can be any days - to suit flights etc - just ask!
