The accommodation is comfortable, clean and spacious.
Accessibility
The house is set on a slope with stairs to the garden and pool area. The main bedroom is on the same level as the sitting room, terrace and kitchen.

Private swimming pool with large sun terrace for sunbathing and games. The garden is on different levels and has fruit trees, olive and fig trees.
Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is at Fuengirola, a 20 minute drive.
Golf
The nearest golf course is a 7 minute drive away, Alhaurin Golf. The house looks down fro the mountains onto several other golf courses below: Mijas Golf, La Cala Golf.
Travel
Nearest airport is Malaga (25 minute drive). It is essential to have a car.

Most basic service can be found in Mijas village: local shops, small market, banks and lots of restaurants. There are bigger supermarkets and shopping centres a 20 minute drive away in Mijas Costa and Fuengirola.

My name is Bridget Buckley. I live and work in Seville which is about 250 kms from the villa in Mijas.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
My parents bought the land here in the 1960s and built the house at the end of the 70s. It has been and still is mainly a family holiday home. It gives us the seclusion and the peace and quiet we want but is also near to all the activities ofered by the Costa del Sol.
