This casita is ideally located on a quiet street in the charming and sought after old city section of Ronda. It is a perfect spot from which to explore the historic town of Ronda and the amazing terrace from its elevated position directly overlooks wonderful views of the mountains, unspoilt Andalucian countryside and the town. Easy access to the casita from groundfloor street level. Ideally situated for sightseeing, walking, eating and drinking and generally relaxing.

Changeover day
Flexible. Ideally renters should depart by 10am and arrive after 12noon to allow for cleaning.
| Bedrooms: | One bedroom with comfortable twin beds and overhead ceiling fan for summer. Electric blankets supplied for winter lets. All linen provided. |
| Bathrooms: | Fully tiled shower bathroom off bedroom, washbasin and wc, radiator and heated towel rail and also a hairdrier. Full sets of towels provided for each person. |
| Kitchen: | Fully fitted kitchen to include hob, fridge/freezer, washing machine, microwave and minioven/grill, toaster. A welcome food pack is provided for rentals of one week and over, to include bread, butter, jam, juice, bottled water, milk and of course wine! |
| Utility Room: | Iron and ironing board. |
| Living Rooms: | The lounge/dining room is tastefully decorated in spanish style and the sofa makes into a bed for a third guest. There is a TV (spanish) and video to view english films. Also a radio cassette player. Radiator and additonal butane stove (gas provided). |
| Other: | Leading off the lounge/dining area is the patio giving stunning views from the elevated position of the casita. There is an outside sofa and table and chairs for outside dining where the breathtaking scenery can be enjoyed. |
| Cleaning/towels/ linen/maid service: |
Towels and linen are provided plus a welcome food package on arrival. There is a hair dryer and electric blankets for winter rentals. Property is cleaned weekly. |
Notes on accommodation
Heating is provided by radiators and an electric log effect stove in the lounge. House is not ideal for families with children or pets. Street level access would allow easy access for most people. Parking is limited, however you can stop outside the property to unload luggage and there is a free car park three min walk away.
Outside
There is a central atrium patio with plants at the entrance to the casita. The private outside terrace provides a relaxing place to enjoy a drink or outside eating in an amazing setting overlooking the town to the west, the arab baths and horse-riding finca below, the mountains and andalucian countryside as far as the eye can see. A large comfortable bamboo sofa with cushions and a coffee table as well as a granite topped table with two wrought iron chairs with cushions is provided.
Coast/Beach
Coast with excellent beaches are approximately 45 minutes drive. Tarifa with some of the most spectacular beaches for windsurfing about 1.5 hour away. Internationally known Puerto Banus with its glamour of big boats and nightlife and exceptional restaurants and bars are a good day´s outing if required.
Golf
Numerous golf courses are available on the coast which is 45 minutes drive from Ronda.
Skiing
During the season, Sierra Nevada offers excellent skiing in the mountains behind Granada. This is a feasible trip from Ronda via train to Granada or car about two and a half hours drive.
Travel
Ronda can be reached by several airports in its central postion in Andalucia, nearest airport being Malaga about one to one and a half hours drive away depending on route taken or Sevilla (1.5 hrs), Gibraltar (1.5 hrs) and now Granada, though not so convenient (2.5hrs). Distances
Ronda is surrounded by small white villages which can be easily reached by car or train. Of particular interest is the quiet, sleepy mountain top village of Gaucin or the cave house village of Setenil. One can also make day trips to Granada and Seville by train or car.

The casita and its unique situation in Ronda has everything to offer for a perfect holiday - places of interest to visit either on foot from the casita, villages or countryside to explore by car for anything between half an hour´s journey up to a full day´s outing. The casita is also ideally situated for anyone interested in exploring the history of Ronda´s town or walking from the town into stunning countryside. Birdwatchers will enjoy the high location of the house looking over the terrace which gives a great view of birdlife in this area. There are many excellent restaurants and bars some within easy walking distance for anything between a tapas or a full meal either simple fare or five star cuisine, others a trip by car or short train journey through the gorges that surround Ronda. There is a small corner shop at the top of the street or a larger supermarket in the town for provisions as well as an excellent shopping street in the newer section of Ronda with anything from bargain priced leather shoes to latest fashions. Nightlife can be as quiet (sipping a glass of wine on the terrace chilling out) to late night bars, discos, theatre and flamenco at certain times of the year (details in tourist office) and even bullfights in the town if required. Other activities available in the area are horse-riding, hang-gliding and mountain biking. Visit nearby caves to see rock-paintings as well as roman ruins at Ronda La Vieja. The glorious countryside of the nearby national park ten minutes on the road to San Pedro from Ronda and well worth packing a picnic.
Booking notes
Please contact owner by e-mail. Generally 50% depòsit should be sent by bank transfer, IBAN or if time for clearance, cheques are acceptable. A booking will be confirmed by e-mail and in writing if required. Balance to be paid on arrival in cash (euros preferred but pounds acceptable). Owner can meet renters with the keys either in San Pedro or at the property in Ronda by prior arrangement. Minimum rental of one week is preferred though shorter stays may be possible on a pro-rata basis.
