Notes on accommodation
A fabulous property for one or two families with children to enjoy the south facing terraces and swimming pool throughout the summer. Alternatively the vibrancy of the seasonal colours and skies has brought inspiration to authors and artists who have stayed at the property over the past 25 years.
Outside
The property is surrounded by it's own land predominantly covered with Pine, Cork Oak and Olive trees. The swimming pool, a particular feature of the property is large in size (10m x 5m with 2.3m max depth x 1.3m min depth) with timer lights for night time dips!
Coast/Beach
The beach at Castell is the nearest being 3km distant. This is an unspoilt 'peoples beach' left by an incumbent lady in the 1050's to the people of Catalunya.
Alternatively there is Palamos, La Fosca, Calella de Palafrugell, Llafranc, Tamariu and Playa D'Aro within striking distance.
Golf
There are 5 excellent golf courses within a 40 minute drive including the championship course at Mas Nou, 20 minutes away.
This property is ideal for the travelling golfers holiday.
Special interest holidays
Painting clubs and artists have rented this holiday for the past 25 years, normally in the autumn and spring months.
Bird watchers also enjoy the eagles circling overhead in the afternoon in spring.
Travel
Gerona is the nearest airport being 40km.
Barcelona and Perpignan are equidistant at approx 120km.
Distances
Vall Llobrega is 1.5 km to the village centre and has two restaurants and 1 bar and a shop.
Palamos is 3 km distant with extensive shopping, bars, marinas and over 60 restaurants.

There is a supermarket within 2 km for all affordable home catering needs.
The Palamos market is every Tuesday morning for fresh produce.

Owner profile
About the owner
Torre Cal Sada was originally planned and built by our father in the 1970's however, my brother and I have owned and managed the property for the last 15 years during which time it has served as a wonderful holiday home for us, our 6 children (now aged between 10 and 21!) other family, friends and of course clients.
We are very proud of the fact that many clients choose to return to Torre Cal Sada each season, once visited it is never forgotten!

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Our parents built this lovely villa in the 70's and we were lucky enough to be able to buy it from them in the 1990's
My brother and I have improved it, let it for holidays and enjoyed every year in Palamos for all of our adult lives.
We continue to renovate original features to keep the house asnew can whilst making some major improvements such as central heating!
We love other people enjoying our villa alongside the wonderful family holidays we continue to enjoy.
It is a very special place!
