Transfer time from Malaga airport is 80 minutes and 40 minutes from Granada airport. We can arrange taxi service each way for malaga and for Granada through our local guy Tony. Car hire availability in Salobrena as you choose. Savour the areas micro-climate, offering the warmest and sunniest winters on mainland Europe with low humidity and the most comfortable summer temperatures. Yet, Snow ski-ing on the Sierra Nevada is just 70 minutes drive away. Granada and the majestic Alpajurra Mountains are reached within half that time.

Changeover day
Flexible, we want clients to maximise lower cost mid week flights, depart by 10.00hrs arrive 14.00hrs. Additional days can be purchased at the weekly pro rata rate. Make the most of low cost fares!
Notes on accommodation
Bedrooms in both apartments are air-conditioned. All heating and applicances are electric. Car access is achieved through very narrow and steep streets. Public parking available. We recommend a small car with full damage waiver insurance. Alternatively use our airport collection service.
On site representative will meet and greet and escort you to the apartment and be available for advice.
Each apartment is we feel unique and quite different to each other though both offering the best of modernised accommodation.
Outside
Our lovely patio garden is shared by both apartments and is accessed by secured wrought iron gates to the side of the property. Sole use can be negotiated. Excellent location by both day and night. Outside furniture includes several tables, large parasol, loungers.
Utility room is off patio garden with toliet; wash hand basins and washing machine.
This area is a rather special amenity as space on the Rock is at a premium and is a pleasure anytime of the day though at peak time best from the shelter of an umbrella. We have planted it up in a style that means there is usually something in flower at all times of the year.
Coast/Beach
Just 15 minutes walk down from the citadel 'village' of Salobrena is the 10km long stretch of beach with wide promenade and good selection of restuarants and bars. Easy parking and wide choice of water sports are available, along with the golf club Playa Granada just 100 meters from the sea. Along the coast are many quiet coves.
Golf
Motril Port is circa 3 miles away and has a very nice golf club house and course.
Skiing
70 minutes drive to the ski resort of the Sierra Nevada Mountains. The mountain villages are to die for and are well worth travelling to even if it is in peak season.
Special interest holidays
For walkers this area is superb; whether it be from the salobrena beach to the motril port about 3 miles or through the various farming lanes or in the wonderful surrounding mountains and hills.

80 minutes drive from Malaga airport.
90 minutes drive from Almeria airport.
70 minutes drive from Granada Airport.
Transfer by taxi to and from malaga and Granada airports is recommended with private car hire arranged when in Salobrena.

45 minutes to Granada and the Alhambra Palace.
35 minutes to mountain villges of La Alpajarras.
30 minutes to Nerja and the Caves.
20 minutes to La Herradura and Yatch club.
10 minutes to Motril golf course and Yatch club.
Further details
The newer part of Salobrena at the bottom of the hill has supermarkets, banks and shops. Local health amenities include dentists, doctors and chemists. There is an excellent hospital in Motril 10 minutes away. Bring your E1-11 form with you.

About the owner
We are an English couple who discovered Salobrena quite by accident. In fact these apartments were the first properties we saw in Salobrena. We were blown away by the location and the wonderful properties themselves. We wanted to feel in the heart of Spanish culture and not in area more like England than Spain. We have not been disappointed and still love it all as much as ever.
