A luxury apartment, situated 6 minutes from the unspoilt beaches of Almerimar. Within easy reach of 3 Golf Courses, internationally recognised 18, 21 and 9 hole options. Allocated underground parking lot, electric security gates, secure fully heated swimming pool on site, with life guard *. Beautifully furnished and with mosquito guards to all windows and patio doors. Large relaxing patio overlooking the Nature Reserve where you may see flamingos, parrots, and we have seen nesting birds of prey. Binoculars provided! Sierra Nevada mountains are 90 minutes drive away, and you can see them easily. Walk a bit further from the beach along the promenade to enjoy Almerimar town, where you will find relaxing restaurants overlooking boats and yachts of all shapes and sizes. Food is fantastic, the real Spain, or if you want an English bar there is CK's there too. Local agent to handle all your queries and key collection, very friendly locals many expats will be happy to chat and help out.
Bedroom with new double bed, luxury, top of the range sofa bed opens out easily in the lounge to sleep 2 adults or children. Large wardrobe with ample hanging and drawer space, hangers included. Linen duvets and pillows all provided. Ceiling fan.
New fully tiled bathroom, with white suite, including large handbasin with lighted mirror above and shaving point, bidet, toilet, and powerful shower over the full sized bath. Towels provided.
Fantastic new kitchen with black gloss fully fitted cabinets, round sink and drainer, ample worktops. Integrated cooker and oven, microwave, kettle and toaster, fridge freezer and every requirement for feeding a family.
New washing machine is located in adjoining laundry area, fully tiled area with deep ceramic sink, a really useful addition to wash out all those sandy beach items!
Well appointed lounge overlooking patio, nature reserve and views to the sea. Three seater sofa/bed and comfy lounge chair. Coffee table and matching TV/ DVD unit, flat screen TV/DVD/CD player and Freesat. Dining table and 4 chairs, ceiling fan.
The overall feeling of this apartment is one of space and light.
Towels and linen are provided, double duvets, pillows x 4. Property will be cleaned once per week unless otherwise stated and a change of linen/ towels is included in the price per week.

The apartment is located on the third floor and is fully serviced with two lifts. Lifts down to the underground parking lot where there is an allocated parking lot for this apartment, remote control garage doors, and entrance to Alta Entinas will be provided on key collection.
The apartment has a 22' x 18' patio with access from the lounge and the hallway. There is a full patio set, table and 4 chairs so that you can enjoy a glass of wine whilst soaking up the peace and sea views. There is an airer provided for drying. The fully heated swimming pool is shared in the complex and accessed with pool key for renters/residents only. This is a large double pool with safe shallow areas for the kids, and has a life guard at all times. Well supplied with umbrellas and areas to sit around the pool, it is a real pleasure to use. We have provided towels suitable for pool and beach use, as well as inflatables for your convenience and fun.
Important notes on accommodation
Freesat now installed! Get the latest on the soaps! Wheelchair access may well be possible since the whole area is step free including access from the garage, quite wide doors throughout. Please call to discuss in more detail. A note about the pool availability - this is available during peak season only - dates vary so do ask the vendor. Closes in September and during winter. Dates of opening vary, please ask me.

Notes on prices
No harm in asking, please do enquire if the information does not quite fit your needs. If it is out of your budget, try me anyway, I would rather be given the option. First year on the market, I want to get this one up and running!
No preferred changeover day, but minimum 3 day stay is preferred.
Please phone to make sure about booking dates. The usual deposit is 20% and the balance to be paid 1 week before your holiday date please. If you just want to chat about it, do call.

About the area
I have timed this walk myself at 6 minutes, beautiful unspoilt white sand beaches, with great facilities. Beach huts with running water and duck boards to the promenade, so you can clean off all that sand first! Umbrellas and sun loungers, reasonably priced at 4 Euros each when we were there last for a whole day! The sea is fantastic and a further walk along the prom to the local shops and restaurants, makes it all a grand day out.
3 golf courses of International standard are within easy reach of the apartment. 21, 18 and 9 hole options, having been recently revamped. There are golf hotels in the process of being built here in Almerimar. A beautiful oasis of trees, flowers and palms to make your golfing experience that bit more memorable.
Skiing is accessible in the Sierra Nevada mountains 90 minutes away, or for a day trip to have a complete contrast to the Almerimar beaches.
Special Interest Holidays
Birdwatchers very welcome. Aug/Sept 2012 39 different species were spotted, 75% of them from the balcony overlooking the Entinas Nature Reserve. Binoculars provided. Come out for spring 2013 for the migration period!
How to get there
The nearest airport is Almeria, which is around a 30 minute drive to Almerimar. I can arrange for a much reduced rate than local taxis, but if you hire your car it is a straight drive west to Almerimar on uncrowded motorway. You can get about easily if you don't hire a car, but with golf equipment etc it is much easier and there is an allotted underground parking slot for this apartment with lift access. Hire rates with Easyjet eg are around 18E/day for a small car at time of writing.

Local supermarket is a 15 minute walk or a quick drive away. Mercadona is well equipped with everything you might need and they have not hiked up prices for the tourist market either. Good Spanish fare can be found in good deli counters and I found local wine at 55c per carton! You will however come out humming the Mercadona ad...

We had a lovely time, I have kept meaning to e-mail you to say how lovely the apartment was and a great location!
It was great being so close to the nature reserve with such a lovely view, saw a pair of Little Owls on our first night and after that loads of flamingoes, egrets, stilts, a Roller (quite unusual I think, you only get them in europe - its vivid turquoise underneath!)
Also loved the fantastic clean beach and just a short walk away. Even at weekends it was busy but never really packed, always a spot for us and our umberellas. Also had fun with the lilos, it was good not to have to buy these and hope our umbrellas will be useful for you in September.

Hi I live with my two sons in Brighton, England. I work full time as a recruitment consultant within pharmaceuticals and clinical research. Having been a midwife my interests have always been in medicine and sciences. My partner is a fireman, and we love getting away to Spain when we can. Long term I would love to spend equal time in the UK and winter in Spain. I hate cold! In my spare time I sing in a duo, and you never know you might see me in the bars in Almerimar one of these days!

Why this location?
I chose this apartment in Spain because it is not too far to go if you fancy a quick getaway! The area of Almerimar I love because it is stil fairly unspoiled. This apartment I fell in love with when I saw that the views are peaceful and overlook the Nature Reserve. Birds are one my my hobbies, and I have left some binoculars in the flat just because I think it is really interesting to watch them closely, nesting and flying etc. So far I have seen a family of owls, and a nesting pair of prey birds ( not sure which ones!). I want people to enjoy the flat, the area, the peace and the local people are so very friendly. Lots of English ex pats A good old english bar CK's if you fancy it, and lots of real spanish restaurants, where the Spanish love to eat, a good sign!
What are the unique benefits of the property?
This is a brilliant mixture of peace and beach holiday and or Golf if you love it, or perhaps your partner is a golf fanatic, while you and the kids skip off to the beach. 6 minutes and you are there. 1 minute and you are in the warm beautiful, safe pool with the guard there for your peace of mind. Lots of families enjoy this area. Everyone is friendly. The apartment itself is luxurious and fully equipped, I think we have thought of everything, even DVD's and CD's for the evenings, no laughing.... we want you to enjoy the flat, Almermar and the surounding areas, and want to hear what you think so that we can make it perfect for everyone. We hope you come back!
