Beautiful 3 bedroom penthouse apartment on the 5 star Roda Golf & Beach Resort. Fully air-conditioned and also with full gas central heating for the occasional chilly winter evening. The large living room is furnished to a very high standard with large wrap around sofa and solid wood furniture. There is a TV with satellite channels, DVD player and CD player. The full height patio doors lead onto the balcony overlooking the gardens, a table and chairs are provided for alfresco dining. From the balcony, stairs lead up to the massive roof terrace with large table and chairs plus sun beds and BBQ, The views from here over the resort, Los Alcazares and the Mar Menor Sea are stunning especially at night with La Manga strip all lit up. The master bedroom has 2 single beds and a full en-suite bathroom. Full height patio doors lead onto a small balcony. The second and third bedrooms have 2 single beds each and use of a separate shower room. The well equipped kitchen has everything.

There are 2 balconies over looking the gardens and a massive roof terrace which has a large table and chairs, sun beds and a BBQ. The views over Los Alcazares and the Sea are spectacular.
One of many large swimming pools is just outside the front door and is set in lovely gardens.
The apartment also comes with secure underground car parking which is a must in the summer months for keeping your car cool.
There is an exclusive beach club. The beach club is located on La Manga strip and can be accessed by car or by taking the boat across the Mar Menor.
Coast/Beach
The stunning beaches of the Mar Menor are just 3 minutes drive down the road, these beaches stretch for over 25 Kms and are award winning and clean. Along the beaches you will find many bars and restaurants, all are quality authentic Spanish Tapas bars and restaurants.
There are also toilets and showers. Between Easter and the end of October, sun beds and parasols are also available for hire.
The warm shallow waters are perfect for families and all manner of water Sports.
Golf
Roda Golf is a fabulous 18 hole course and also hosts a full PGA school
There are many more courses within 10 - 30 minutes drive including the Jack Nichlaus Trail and the world famous La Manga Club.
Travel
The nearest airport is Murcia San Javier which is only 10 minutes drive away. Alicante airport is 60 minutes drive.
Distances
The bustling seaside town of Los Alcazares is 3 minutes drive. Cartagena is just 20 minutes drive and is a Roman Naval Port which is stunning and should not be missed. With a beautiful Marina lined with bars and restaurants, this is the perfect place to spend an afternoon with a drink watching the boats come and go.
Murcia City is 35 minutes drive and has stunning architecture and narrow winding streets filled with shops and restaurants.

The Mercadona Plaza in Los Alcazares is lined with great restaurants suiting all tastes and budgets.
We recommend you try El Patio opposite the Plaza which is very Spanish and is the biggest indoor BBQ you will find serving very fresh meats, fish and vegetables are very reasonable prices
The local markets are in a different town each day; the closest is in Los Alcazares and is on a Tuesday morning. The markets all come together on a Sunday morning creating a huge affair at Cabo de Palos, this is a great little fishing port at the southern end of the Mar Menor and offers great seafood restaurants, typically, the seafood being served on any given day is the catch landed that morning so you will not get fresher.
Our apartment is supplied with a very comprehensive brochure of all the activities available in the area.
One of the biggest sports in the area is Kite Surfing, there is an excellent school down the road which offers tuition for beginners and hires out all the equipment, they also have a great bar overlooking the sea where you can relax with a drink after trying out this strenuous sport, or just chill if you’re not interested in having a go.
We also have Dos Mares which is only 10 minutes drive, this is a very large shopping centre with an Eroski hypermarket selling everything you would wish for - The fresh fish counter is amazing. The centre also has many other shops and a cinema and is open 365 days a year so you will never but stuck for anything.
The Mar Menor Sea is protected from the Mediterranean by the spit of land know as La Manga del Mar, the lagoon is 27 kms long, 9 kms wide and yet is only 7 meters deep at the centre making it perfect for swimming and water sports.
This area is without question a fabulous place to take a much needed holiday and is perfect for families, couples, and those looking for a sporty energetic break. Come and join us in the Sunshine.
