The villa is well furnished and a short walk to the excellent blue flag beach of La Barrossa, some 10km of sand, beach restaurants and sailing. Set in a small pretty complex with palm trees and a beautiful large pool with lifeguard at high season, the villa is in prime position for all amenities and very safe. La Barossa is very much a family resort. The harbour and marina is excellent for boat and yacht hire. There is a 36 hole championship golf course less than a km away set up as 2 courses alongside tennis courts and stables. The airport of Jerez is 40 mins drive and serviced daily by Ryanair from Stansted. Nearby you can visit the sherry region of Jerez or ancient port of Cadiz or the stunning City of Seville. Andalucia is a very friendly area and does not suffer from the high rise mentality of other more crowded regions. It retains its own charm and a warm spanish welcome. The Villa looks over a beautiful pine forest. it is a wonderful setting for a perfect holiday.

Notes on accommodation
It is a family villa and seems child proof. Heating in bedrooms and lounge. Floor fans for warm nights. The upstairs bedroom has windows that open on to the pine forest view with sliding sun panels. There are bedside lamps and a large wardrobe area. Adjacent is the bathroom and the sun patio that is secluded but affords views to rear for the pool and gardens and to the coastline. Downstairs there is a seperate dining area with table and chairs adjacent to the kitchen with a sliding window and sun panels that overlook a large palm tree. The rear bedroom has three single beds with a wardrobe area. The shower room has a toilet and basin with mirror and shaving attachment. The lounge has two sofas [both act as sofabeds for overspill] and a reclining armchair and chairs. The extra bedroom with double bed and blinds has sliding partition doors and is a step down from the lounge. It overlooks the front garden and palm trees. The villa feels spacious and modern and very clean.
Accessibility
The downstairs can be easily accessed for wheelchair users. The car parking undercover is adjacent. The downstairs bedrooms would be ideal for an elderly or disabled guest. One can never be sure about access but the patio doors could work as a alternate entry.
Outside
Pool is 30 metres and a children's pool area is set alongside and all fenced for safety. The pool is open from spring to autumn and has a lifeguard during high season. There's a very large grass area with matted sun umbrellas. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with an abundance of flowers and fauna. Outdoor furniture is provided with dinner on the patio a must. There is also a covered car park space right next to the villa with electronic gates for security. You can walk to the beach through the pine forest which brings you out by an ancient fire tower that probably warned the Spaniards that Drake was coming! There are showers by the pool and the grass feels soft and lush undrefoot. We have community gardeners who prune and prine the gardens on a daily basis. The front of the villa has its own garden area with a stunning palm tree that sits next to a olive tree that provides some beautiful large black olives. The area is extremly safe with coded security gates.
Coast/Beach
Ten to fifteen minute walk depending on your pace and group members (2 min drive for the less energetic, 3 mins by bike) to La Barossa blue flag beach which is some 10 kms long and real highlight for the area. It is quite stunning with sailing surfing and some very good beach restaurants for all tastes. it is completly unspoilt as the local govt do not allow any development on the beach. It is a community asset that is well protected and highly valued.
Golf
36 hole Sanctri Petri next door designed by Seve Ballesteros that runs alongside the coast. Two other courses within five minutes drive. New course now even closer - La Lomas garden course - a good challenge over lots of water. Montenmedio is just twenty minutes away set in a cork tree forest. Montecastillo just 30 mins.
Skiing
Sierra nevada mountains two hours away.
Travel
Jerez nearest airport only 40 minute drive. Regular Ryanair flights form UK. Gibraltar just 40 minutes and Seville an hour. Car hire advised to see the whole area. The new motorway network now links the whole of Costa de la luz and has diminished lots of travel times.

About the owner
Married couple live in Bucks UK with four children. Bought the Villa eight years ago because its in a stunning area and great for the kids. This is a front line villa with superb local amenities on your doorstep. The grounds and swimming pool and a children's pool are beautiful and expertly maintained and very safe. It really feels like a 5 star hotel setting.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
The beach is brilliant and as its so long there's never a problem with space. The villa's position is excellent and means you can walk to the beach through a pine forest setting. There's covered car parking and the grounds are tended daily by gardeners.
Unique benefits of the property
There's everything you want for a great holiday - good restuarants - beach - golf - tennis -horseriding - fresh fish and ofcourse spanish sun. Cadiz and its many shooping centres is a twenty minute drive away as is Jerez. You get a real feel for Spain in this region which is very traditional and not expensive. The trip from the airport is now just over half an hour and motorway all the way which is superb.
