This small apartment retreat is ideal for parties of 2 to 10 persons. English family owned and operated we pride ourselves that all our customers do return with some on their 5th return visit. Situated in the Malaga Mountains. 25 mins from beach and an hour from the ski slopes. You can choose a self catering holiday or visit the local restaurants and bars in the nearby village of Villanueva del Rosario, which although is a time forgotten Real Spanish village, it has supermarkets, shops and everything else you may need. With a hire car, there is plenty to see and do, Seville, Cordoba, Granada or even the Costas and Malaga itself. In the village fiesta seasons, which run from July through to October, each local small village is transformed from a sleepy Hamlet to an exciting, fashion show, bringing out old local customs together with modern day exciting shows, fun for all. A Spanish village fiesta is a must see! Many of our guest on their 5th return visit.

Accessibility
All apartments on ground floor are suitable for elderly but not adapted for wheelchair access.

Private 25x6m heated pool, and if required poolside jacuzzi and gym. Also poolside TV/DVD lounge wi/fi and reading area. BBQ and indoor bar/ eatery, plenty of private parking, separate sun bathing areas with plenty of furniture.

A 25 mins drive to the nearest beach.
Golf
Nearest Golf course Antequera Golf 30 mins.
Skiing
Sierra Nevada 1 hours drive.
Special interest holidays
We also specialize in road cycling, mountain biking, running and swimming and hiking.
Travel
Malaga Airport 35 minutes, Granada 40 minutes, car hire available from both.
Pickups available on request. We have our own minibus, which can be used (driver supplied on request for those special nights).
Distances
Local village of Villanueva del Rosario 4km away, banks, shops and supermarkets also with bars and restaurants. Antequera 15 mins drive, a larger town with plenty of historic interest and sight seeing. Malaga and The Costas 30 mins drive, beaches, beaches and more golf. Granada, the Alhambra, Sierra Nevada, 50 mins drive. Cordoba a very historic, thriving must see. Seville the very famous city 90 mins drive. Lake Iznajar beautiful lakes 40 mins away.

Dear Mr. Idle In the short number of days since our return I have been reflecting on the wonderful time that my wife and family spent at your retreat in Spain and felt I had to just let you know that we really did have a fabulous time.The weather, of course, was perfect but it would be difficult to thank you for that!. However, for the rest I would simply like to reiterate our thanks for such a holiday. All features of our stay, the peace and quiet punctuated mainly by laughter and splashes as more bodies enter the pool, your great hospitality, sense of fun, encyclopedic knowledge of the area, the scenic walks of any distance (Dont forget to take water!) that you suggested, the bike rides (Ditto water!), the pretty countryside, the scenic villages, bars, restaurants and that wonderful lake whose name escapes me etc.. Finally, the food, the ambiance of the little bars you pointed out for us, their very low prices and sheer quality have simply restored my faith in Spain July 2010

Owner operators Andy and Tracy Idle have run Idle breaks for the last 5 years. Both British expats, along with their two young girls. Andy is an ex fast food operator and keen cyclist. Tracy is renown with their current guests for her cooking and special low fat foods. They have built up a strong clientele with both leisure and sporting holidays, with many of their guests returning year after year.

Ideal spot for a retreat, with plenty of fresh spring water. Both for the ease of access and it's remoteness.
