Located near the typical Spanish hamlet of Las Casillas, the large, character, hillside Finca has been sympathetically restored by it's current owners. The ground floor level,a completely independent apartment offers comfortable, very spacious accommodation for guests. There is an abundance of rustic Spanish features while still having every modern amenity you could need.The owners, who use the upper level, appreciate your need for privacy but are there if you require anything. The house is surrounded by olive groves and almond trees with unrivalled Lake and Mountain views. This is the ideal place to get away from it all,and to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the beaches, countryside and moorish villages of Andalucia, all just a short drive from the house. Recommended for adults who want to have a taste of true Spanish life yet be near busier towns and coastal resorts of the Costa del Sol.

The prices shown are for 2 persons.There will be an additional charge of £50 per week if booked for more than 2 persons.
Prices include gas and electricity. Prices quoted are per week in UK pounds. Where a full week is not required a charge of £30(2 persons) and £50 (3/4 persons) per night will be made.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required on booking.
Changeover day
Flexible change over days to allow guests to make full use of cheaper flights.
We will try to make arrival and departure times fit in with guests as far as possible.

Accessibility
Unfortunately the house is not suitable for those with mobility problems.
Outside
The apartment has it's own private terrace for dining alfresco. A gas barbecue, table and chairs are provided. The pool (7x4m), which is used occasionally by the owners and who make sure it sparkles, has a huge terrace with plenty of sun loungers. You can sit and admire the views and terrace gardens in the shade of the olive trees.The views from both terraces are breathtaking and really seeing is believing!
Coast/Beach
The coast and numerous beaches are approx 20 min drive from the apartment. The Spanish resort of Torre Del Mar and other Costa beaches (20 mins), Nerja and it's caves(35mins). Puente Don Manuel and Vinuela, the local villages, are both within 10 mins away and have supermarkets and shops for all your needs. Lake Vinuela, which can be explored on foot and it's great bar/restaurant is walking distance from the house. Horse riding and Lake sports are available locally.
Golf
The nearest golf course,Bavaria Golf, is 25 mins drive.
Travel
Malaga airport is 45 minutes drive. Granada,for the Alhambra palace, 1hr.20 mins. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Los Romanes, 5mins. Vinuela, 10mins.Nerja, 30mins, Granada 1hr. 20 mins.
Lake Vinuela is within walking distance from the house and is surrounded by numerous villages which are worth a visit and easily reached by car.
For those who like walking there are numerous delightful walks in the local country side and around the Lake. Granada, Ronda and Antequera can all be visited in a day from the apartment.
Further details
There are variety of shops, banks, bars and restaurants close by. Vinuela and Puente Don Manuel (10 mins drive). There is a Hypermarket and shopping mall in Velez Malaga, the capital of the Axarquia region.(15 mins) The house is a perfect place for outdoor activities: walking, rambling, fishing and birdwatching or just lazing by the pool.Sailing and canoeing on Lake Vinuela and horse riding in the country-side can be arranged for guests.The breathtaking scenery, particularly the Lake and Mountains, are inspirational for artists and photographers. As well as the large choice of coastal beaches, the house is ideally located to explore the many 'pueblo blancos' of inland Spain. Enjoy the many 'fiestas' in real Spain. Easter with it's processions and Summer with numerous village celebrations. You can be as busy or relaxed as you wish!
