New 4 bedroom villa, set high amid the olive groves, with spectacular views. Master bedroom is on the 1st floor, with its own terrace. The rest of the rooms are on the ground floor. There is a large swimming pool to the front of the house, which is completely terraced.

Enquiries about long winter lets will be discussed on an individual basis. Please vacate the house by 10:00am on your day of departure, to allow the changeover to be complete, in readiness for our next guests. Thank you.

Changeover day
The day of arrival is flexible, to suit your needs. However, we would ask that you vacate the property by noon on the day of departure. If you do have a late flight. however, please ask for a later departure time, and we will try to accommodate.

Outside

Coast/Beach
The closest beaches are Motril and Almunecar. These are a 50 minutes drive, at a leisurely pace. The coast alongside Motril is packed with beach resorts. Nerja is 1 hour 50 minutes drive. Malaga is a 1 hour drive.
Golf
Golf, 18 holes in Sierra Elvira 20 minutes drive from the villa.
Skiing
The Sierra Nevada is approximately one hours drive from Montesol. This is a popular ski resort, and is the most Southerly in Europe. In the ski season it can be used to its fullest extent in the morning, with a return to Montesol and a dip in the pool in the afternoon!
Travel
Malaga airport is 1 hr.15 minutes drive. Granada airport is 25 minutes drive, and now has international status from London Stansted. Ryanair serves this airport from the UK Flights from Liverpool start around April 2005. Monarch Airlines fly from London Gatwick to Granada, middle May 2005. Car Hire is essential.
Distances
Granada is 28k from Montesol. The shopping is excellant, and the city is steeped in history. A visit to the Alhambra Palace in Granada is a must.
Puerto Lope is a 5 minute drive.
Alcala La Real is a 15 minute drive.
Monte Frio is a 30 minute drive.
Loja is a 40 minute drive
Alahma de Granada, with its hot springs (another must) is a 40 minute drive.
Further details
Puerto Lope has banking facilities, mini-market, bakers, Hotel and bars.
Pinos Puente (10km) has a supermarket, pharmacy, shops, bars and restaurants. Alcala La Real, has both Lidl and Mercadona supermarkets. This is a good size town, with parks, and a weekly market. Granada has a great market on a Sunday morning, near the coach station. There are 2 internet cafes in Alcala la Real and 2 in Illora. These small towns are about 10 kilometres away.
Booking notes
Booking procedure by e-mail, with a 50% deposit payable at the time of booking, a cheque will be acceptable for this payment. Then 6 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday, the balance will be payable, again a cheque will be acceptable. Once this cheque has cleared, the keys will be forwarded by registered mail. A cancellation will mean the deposit is non returnable.

July 06. We have just had a call from a family, saying it was the best holiday they have ever had and have booked for 2 weeks next year 2007.
