Accessibility
There are numerous steps down to the pool, and for this reason the property is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. The property does have a lift.
Outside
The apartment has a large terrace with patio furniture with views across the gardens. Montealmendros has its own lovely gardens with its own communal pool offering magnificent views across the countryside.
The pool is unheated, and has sunbeds surrounding with communal toilets available.
Coast/Beach
Montealmendros is less than 10 minutes drive to San Pedro de Alcantara.
San Pedro de Alcantara is in an ideal situation, just 10 kilometres west from all the glitz and glamour of Marbella, yet just a few minutes drive away from the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and 20km from the town of Estepona.
Golf
Andalucia is renowned for its top golf courses and the unique sunny and warm winter climate allows golf to be popular all year round. There are nearly 60 golf courses in Andalucia. By car you can reach Los Naranjos, Aloha, Las Brisas and La Quinta within 10 minutes. Torrequebrada, Mijas Golf and El Paraiso within 20 minutes, Sotogrande and Valderrama, (Ryder Cup-1997, 1999 world championships) within 40 minutes. There are approximately 20 other golf courses on the Costa Del Sol within a 30 minute drive.
Travel
Malaga airport is approximately 45 minutes drive away.
Car hire is essential at Montealmendros, but will offer you the opportunity to visit some of the finest countryside to be seen not only in Spain, but on the continent of Europe. Within 45 minutes drive is stunning Ronda, perched on its famous gorge, whilst those more interested in nightlife and glamour can be in Puerto Banus within 20 minutes.

San Pedro de Alcántara is in an ideal situation, just 10 kilometres west from all the glitz and glamour of Marbella, yet just a few minutes drive away from the natural beauty of the Sierra de Ronda mountain range and 20 km from the town of Estepona.
An ancient farming community, once famous for sugar cane, today San Pedro is a refreshingly unspoilt pueblo with an appeal all of its own.
Be sure to head for the central plaza here with its gracious parish church and surrounding narrow streets which are packed with intriguing small shops, sidewalk cafes and bars. Thursday is street market day with all the associated hustle and bustle - a veritable bargain shopper's paradise.
A pleasant walk is from the centre of town to the beachfront along the Avenida del Marques del Duero which is a particularly attractive wide avenue flanked by palm trees.
And the modern wide promenade is ideal for continuing your stroll (or skateboarding!) with several excellent chiringuitos (beachside restaurants) specialising in fish dishes. Visit Bora Bora if only for a drink at the bar.
It is one of the best beach clubs on the coast, with a superb restaurant and all the usual beach facilities, a tropical paradise.
If you are feeling a little more adventurous then Montealmendros is a superb base for heading up to Ronda and its magnificent gorge, Parador and truly spectacular vistas. Standing on the viewing platform near the Plaza del Toro is a breathtaking experience with the drive back givings unbelievable views of the coast as you coast down from high in the Sierras.
Being within easy access to the Autovia ,staying at Montealmendros means you can be in Gibraltar in 45 minutes, and on the Costa de la Luz in 90 minutes with its wide sandy beaches.

30% of the villa cost is held as a deposit to secure the dates of your reservation. In the event of cancellation, this deposit will be non refundable. The full price of your holiday is due 8 weeks prior to travel. If payment is made by credit card a 3.5% card charge will be made. Please note a payment of £150 is required with your final balance as security in case of damages during your stay and this will be refunded to you within 14 days after your return if there is no damage.
